@jajceboy "peruse" means to read or examine something carefully, thoroughly, or at length. It comes from "per use" meaning "to use up". Unfortunately, it is frequently used incorrectly to mean "to quickly skim over something", which I personally find annoying since that's basically the opposite of what it actually means.
