This movie AI and many of the NIN songs both represent metaphorically and lyrically the process of turning a human being into a mind kontrolled robot via Trauma based Behavior Modification aka Monarch programming (which I believe Trent to be a victim of) who are used in all walks of life, from entertainment to sex slaves to military. AI has many many many symbolic representations and archetypes which act as reminders for the millions of slaves that exist. The porcelain doll is a huge one.

I love it! I don't think Maxx2412 saw the movie. The beginning of the video doesn't cover the fact that the robot boy is the last human type creature left. To anyone who hasn't seen the movie may not grasp the power of this scene. I however understood the undertones and think this video goes perfect with the song.

Trent really used PCM technology to his advantage when recording this album. The CD sounds great. Don't know if you can use PCM on a CD. The mixer and Trent might have. First off, i love NIN, and this song, but honestly watching this video made me feel like i just watched the last 5 minutes of AI. why not edit in some bits from the entire movie? are you creative because you timed the song to really pick up when the creature from the future (or whatever it is) touched the frozen robot kid? well no, not really.

You must've misunderstood something, dear friend. Is there any hint that makes you think that I aim for an "artistic aspect" in my videos? The only thing I do is putting together certain songs with certain scenes from a movie so the feeling of the song fits to the actual scenes. And nothing fits better to the sound of "Where Is Everybody?" than the scene where the kid is the only human-like creature left on earth and is desperately looking for his parents.

i've got plenty of videos by unremixed nin to plenty of movies but my problem with uploading them that i found was getting past copyrights. i asked the person who put this up but do you know of any ways to get them put up or online? I don't want to make money from the ones i have but I would like to use them for a portfolio in cutting, splicing, film editing and stuff like that. Any ideas?

there is no way to bypass copyright violation check. well, if i'm honest i have no clue why this video is still running and not deleted by youtube yet. i still have many other videos with music by nine inch nails that were deleted, so i think it's because of the music. this remix may not be listed in youtube's list of copyrighted sounds i think because it's not from the main albums. try asking trent for permission or else you have to use other music. maybe remixes or something.

Negativ ist der Sound wohl, aber die Szene vom Film strahlt ja jetzt auch nicht unbedingt Freude pur aus. Wird aber zum Schluss etwas zu laut und hektisch, stimmt schon.

Gemacht habe ich's mit Vegas 8. Ich find's einfacher zu bedienen und die Videoqualität besser als beim Moviemaker.

Bei so ner kleinen Scheißauflösung wie bei YouTube macht das wohl keinen Unterschied, wenn du das Video aber im Vollbild laufen lässt, siehst du schon ne Verbesserung. Wenn du willst, kannst du damit auch ohne Qualitätsverlust komprimieren, aber dann ist dein 50MB-Video auch mal gerne 2GB groß. Wird eng mit dem Hochladen dann.

das video verdient 5 sterne, echt sehr gut geschnitten. Die Musik, obgleich sehr stimmig zu den bildern arrangiert, bekommt 4 sterne von mir. derartiger sound ist mir ein wenig zu heftig und etwas zu negativ.
