Even if MSU had lost to Michigan for each of the past 4 years, our record over the past four seasons would still be good (except 2009). Also, UofM has always out recruited MSU. This isn't anything unprecedented. Of the 22 players that MSU started against UofM this past season only 4 of them had UofM scholarship offers. That tells me that Dantonio doesn't need to out-recruit UofM to beat them

@jsbjr86 Actually, he is starting at the bottom, like most people have to and then later on he's going to move up. He can be a great RB's coach. Easy to talk about him, but he has a lot of money from his NFL days. Mich. St. fans do a lot of talking, but when the shoe hits the other foot (starts this year for Ohio St.), then don't make excuses.

It's UM 1st year with this coach and he's 8-2. Same record as MSU. Dantonio went 7-6 his first year including a loss to UM, but yet you sing his praises. Congrats on beating UM in three of it's worst years in history, and then with a first year coach.

Was i this agitated before the dantonio era with michigan state? no, of course not, because i thought they were good people on and off the field and that we only clashed on the field.
