@frankenbat Thanks not to many people would notice that. Since this video i had this guitar fixed with a a Bone Nut & bone Saddle, it has a more rich tone and sustain. Your Bass style is unique. You pull off some neat riffs & sounds.
@rayka wow, i didn't know that, about bone. i'll keep that in mind in case it's something i could use on bass. thanks for the compliment. i've got better vids coming soon...
@kd8ux Nice I have a Walden D710ce that has a nice big sound, a Boulder Creek as well has that nice big sound. Also i bought a Bedell guitar that had no reserve on it and i was the only bidder at $500 and it is a $1300 guitar. nothing has the Boom of my Cort Jumbo. =)
@rayka Another amazing thing.....I have a Waldon 3030ce,and Boulder Creek guitar also.I like the way the Boulder Creek blows in your face when you play it hard. Unreal deal on the Bedell,I traded a bass amp for my SJ10x maple.
@kd8ux NICE, Walden 3030 with the graphite rails. must ring like a bell. Is it a big huge sound too? I have the boulder Creek S3-N cedar top Mahogany side & back. and it rings. which Boulder creek you have?
@kd8ux Only problem i have wiht the hole on the top is sometimesmy chest covers the hole and mutes the sound. I have 3 Boulder Creeks. I have the ECR4-BC and ECRM4-N but for some reason i lost interest in the sound. maybe i will get to like it after a while.
@rayka By the way I have a Taylor 355ltd edition 12 string and a Taylor 315 ltd edititon .Guess some of us just love the feel the soul and the sound.Listen close,it's magic.
@DAToDATonian lol Mel isn't use to working a Camera phone thats a touch screen so he keeps hitting buttons. The sustain is from back picking constantly. The sustain can hold for about 3 to 5 seconds so i am back picking constantly while hitting other strings. I use a very heavy pick that is tapered at the edges so the pick slides off the strings. I use coated strings which helps with the glide to. harmonics on the 7th fret, i think your hearing is much better then mine. Thanks =)
@rayka - No harmonics on the 7th fret ? Well, I'm getting old Harvey, pretty soon I'll be hearing voices. A doctor already asked me if I've been hearing voices from people I don't know and don't know where the voices are coming from and I said "Yes, every time a telemarketer calls." (harmonics after the "alright here we go now" - about two phrases past on the B string ... or were those just regular notes?).
@rayka Don't worry about losing my post Harvey ... I talk too much anyway *LOLOLOLOL* Kidding aside, this was a really great presentation. I liked it VERY much.
why do stupid faces come from gaming ecstacy and playing musical instruments lol

wow, nicely done! that guitar has some great tone, and it's great how you make it sound like two separate guitar lines in some places.

rayka 1 year ago

It's a 314ce L1.....didn't think the 315 sounded right.

@kd8ux I think they made a Limited edition on a 415 with rosewood or just Ovankol as most 400 series. what kind of wood is is your 314ce L1
