  • Hey man! what's the song you play at 0:53? thanks :D

  • @Ledar05 , I'm 100% sure it's a song by Jack Johnson, and about 90% sure that the title is "Flake"

  • if you ever want to sell this, message me im looking to get a 2nd hand one of these

  • Nice guitar. Tossing up between this one and the Yamaha FG700.

  • Haha funny one, me too, have u decided yet!?

  • @primecreator just got an AW30 - Beats the latest Yamaha guitars by lightyears. $250 for a solid top guitar is absurd, and they look beautiful.

  • @Aavani I spent my first time in the guitar store today and fell absolutely in love with an AW30... I'm going to another store tomorrow to check out other guitars but my heart still belongs to that AW30 :D beautiful sound and perfect action

  • hey man cool jams, nice guitar too :) what's the first little song you play btw? cheers mate.

  • It's F-Stop Blues, by jack johnson

  • hey dude <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

are you of the opinion, that the width of the neck of your guitar is too slim??

    I really need your answer!!

  • Nope, I really like the width. actually it's pretty wide for a steelstring.

  • Yeah Tenacious D.

I like you're guitar very much, I will soon get the same only in the brown type.

After all nice playing, keep it up, but I thought in some parts you had should use a pick.

  • nice sounding guitar!

  • hey dude, im thinkin of gettin an AW or an EW ibanez acoustic, what would you recomend my dude?

  • Well actually I started browsing the ibanez website because I saw an EW. I really liked how it looked, but when I saw that it was semi-acoustic, it really lost my interest. Still, it's all a matter of personal preference. Ibanez means quality, that simple. Which Ibanez you like best is all up to you. I just wanted to go fully acoustic. I'm kind of a purist.

  • is this guitar good? right now i have a takamine g-series( g-340i think) and i dont know whether to get the ibanez AW40 or the Crafter T035

  • I absolutely love this guitar. I advise you to try both this one and the crafter out in a local guitar shop, if you can find them. The ibanez is a lot bulkier, which makes it very uncomfortable for my girlfriend to play on it, since she's not that big. I find the ibanez very comfortable, the sound is awesome, and it still looks great. You need to feel it for yourself though.

  • thats really nice playing man, made me wanna get my old acoustic out again, or just buy another. 5*

  • I didn't think anyone would still reply to this old bit of film.... anyway, that's "'74 '75" or just "74 75" by the connells

  • Where is the difference to the aw10? (Beside the fredboard- inlay)

  • I have absolutely no idea... never played that one myself. If you find out, please tell me.

  • the only difference is neck binding and fretboard inlay. the rest, including electronics is the same. (that is, if we're talking about "ece" models). hope that helps!

  • Nice playing man and an awesome guitar.

I thinking of getting the same one.

Just 1 question if you don't mind:

Those inlays on the fretboard, are in the 'way' if you are playing? Or are they like engraved and not irritating at all?

    tnx in advance...

  • In the way? no, not at all. See, where most guitars have little dots to show which fret is which, this guitar just has a really fancy way of showing that. They are NOT in the way at all. They don't call it INLAY for nothing... it's engraved, so no need to worry.

  • Alright man, tnx for the reply. :)

  • Realy good! u should buy one of those guitar pickups u put in front of the guitar, like andy mckee uses in "rylynn" and "drifting", to better catch the sound of our amazing guitar (and skills:P)

  • sweet

  • AW10 is identical only lots cheaper nd without the gordy plant inlay on the fretboard

  • what a waste of time i want my 3 mintues back...

hehe jk, cool guitar, smooth playing!

  • thanks for showing the play and sounds. I am considering one of these, your vid helped.

  • thanks for the reply. Whats the first song you play in the vid? cheers

  • you're welcome ^^.

The first song is "F-Stop Blues" by Jack Johnson. I'm going to one of his concerts this summer :)

  • Nice Beatles bit there. I bought this guitar last May and still play it more than my other guitars. Great sound and playability. Nice work.

  • i got an AW35

but it had horrid fretbuzz and the electrics didnt work so i had to replace the saddle...

now the action is as high as a kite, tho the tone is amazing, i just need to buy a new saddle.

  • Thanks for the video man, it shows how good it looks and sounds. I cant wait to see the look on her face when it comes in.

  • i just ordered my daughter this guitar, $199 on sale at musicians friend..

  • neat-oh! I payed a good 260 euros for it.

  • How do you like it Peter?

Is it easy enough to play for a beginner?

The guy here sure makes it sound good.

  • It's not cutaway, true... but I like it better the way it is now. I might buy a cutaway someday, but it'll be an archtop electric. And I'm happy that it's not electric... There's another version of this guitar, which is semi-acoustic, and DOES have a cutaway. I like this version much better, which is why I bought it :p.

  • Whats the difference between your one and the cutaway semi acoustic and why do you like yours better? thanks

  • as far as I know... you just summed it up.

the semi-acoustic is semi-acoustic... which makes it more suitable if you want to perform in front of a crowd. That also means it has a big ugly amplifier built into the guitar.

Also, the cutaway makes it easier to reach the higher notes, but I think it's less pretty than the dreadnought version.

All in all... If you want to record or perform, go with the semi-acoustic. If not, just pick the one you like best.

  • it's got an amazing sound. i got one for christmas, and it's amazing. it's got that neil young/ lynyrd skynyrd acoustic sound to it. very easy playabillity. great sound. only 2 cons is that it's not a cutaway and you have to buy a acoustic pickup for it if you want to play through an amp

  • Hey good playing...by any chance can you tell me if the action is like good on your ibenez cause im thinking about getting same guitar...and since no store has it had to get offline..hope its a nice guitar..

  • @1cansp311: I have no problems playing it, the action is great for me... but I learned to play on a spanish nylon-stringed guitar, with a very wide neck and with the strings far away from the fretboard. You should try one before you buy it.

  • haha well I bought it and its awsome.

  • actions fine unless your hammering on frets 11 and above where you may get a slight double tone (when i play andy mckee's drifting that is) but other than that the actions perfect. It could be lower though

  • Also, that wasn't a wasted 3 minutes by any means.

  • Thank you ! ^^

If all goes well, I should receive this guitar thursday :D

On this, you play nice guitar ;)

  • It's completely acoustic. I myself think semi-acoustics are ugly, because of that black pickup on the side.

  • I agree. I've got this guitar on layaway at my local Guitar Center. I should be picking it up next week, along with the Ibanez PF50C Hardshell case.

  • It is a electro acoustic or a acoustic ? Please answer me :) I think buy this guitar but i wanted a notice before xD

  • Ja!

    Mooie gitaar.

Jammer dat hij niet helemaal te zien is.

Maar dit model ken ik wel.

    Veel plezier ermee!
