To KinoInternational, Do you still sell the videocassettes of this, or is it now out of print? I was fortunate to buy the videocasette of the Paramount shorts several years ago.
Most film buffs don't know that Robert Benchley left MGM at the end of 1940 to appear in a series of simliar shorts for Paramount (1941-'43). This is one of the first he did for them....
I eagerly awaited the release of the DVD collection, a couple of years ago, and it was worth the price--Robert Benchley was PRICELESS! I grew up reading his humorous collections. Wonderfully funny stuff!

Robert Benchley was a comic genius. This scene is absolutely hilarious. Anyone who can't see this hasn't got a sense of humor.

He was my mom's favorite author & she collected all his hilarious short stories- thank god because they're hard to find now :->

I, for one, think that he should get out of those wet clothes and into a dry-martini! R.J.

You have to see the whole short to appreciate it, the video here is only a tiny portion of it.

I was restricted to 2 minutes. It's very tough to find excerpts that reveal the full impact of these films.

A wonderful 2 minutes. I only wish that all of the Algonquin Round Table members could be brought back to life.
