    P90X is tough! It is working muscles I never use. I'm seeing already it will take more than one round to get me where I want to be. I love it.

  • Truth is that it has taken me a couple of months focused on this to get here. I know I still have a long way to go, but I feel building strong muscle is what will help me finally get to my goal BMI. Notice I keep track of my weight, but my goal is BMI, not weight!

  • BMI and Weight are directly related. Truth be told, BMI is a garbage statistic. It says absolutely nothing about your body composition. Your real focus ought to be on bodyfat % and inches ;)

  • Thank you! I honestly thought BMI directly showed fat%. So, I don't have a goal BMI, but a fat% goal.

  • no it's just a calculation based on your height and weight. Based on this calculation alone, Tony Horton would be borderline Obese.

    and also dont worry about the new years thing its ok to induldge like that once in a blue moon it keeps your mind in check too, just make sure the next day you go back to your old dieting self

    ive been doing my work outs all most every day my problem is the dieting im still eating the same and thats got to stop yall got any tips for me.

  • Thanks Chris! You got it. Yeah, I think knowing I was going into the 90 days was why I let myself have more ribs. That is behind me now.

    Tip: Figure out what your eating problem is? Mine was a multiple of bad over processed food, emotions, and portions that were way too large. I have a lot to work on, but now I know what to work on!

  • i eat at the wrong times and i eat bad stuff i got to start eating veggies and stuff but i hate them lol but i love fruit and im doing better then i was, so its comeing

  • I laughed SO hard! haha That was completely funny! Remember to breath on each pushup it will help with stamina. Don't worry about slipping...as long as you don't get too down on your self. You are doing WAY more than guys yours size ever do so stay motivated and happy with your self! You rock man!

  • you are looking GREAT!!! Remember your weight will flux with the weight training. You might even gain for a few weeks. BUT its a good gain... muscle will burn off that fat!! Then you will have to change your id to "Hot Buff Texas Ass" Huggs Dea

  • Thanks, I'm not sure about the new name, but my wife likes the changes she sees in me. I do too. I am hopeful the P90X will build the muscle I need to help me lose this fat.

  • hilarious! I like that you're setting your minimum to 10. I keep my minimum exercise at 3 days a week and I usually end up doing 5 or 6. *YOINK* I'm borrowing your stairs idea. I want to have ze guns!

  • Many of us set our goals too high and we give up when we can't meet those pie in the sky goals. I'm learning that I can feel good with smaller goals. I hope more people learn this. This is what kept me fat for so many years.

  • The fireworks looked fun! Whenever I feel like eating something I shouldn't or eating too much, I just remind myself that it's gonna take away all the work I did exercising that day and that usually keeps me from eating it. I don't bust my butt for nothing!

  • I am now seeing first hand what damage the eating too much did. I could have had a loss that week. I will use that for positive reinforcement.

  • OMG a bucket!! That scares me too YIKES! You have done SO good with your exercising so far, so get that eating plan under control so it doesn't over shadow your wonderful progress at exercise, and your weightloss.   • Tonight is Plyometrics, AKA (Bucket day). My eating plan is now under control of my 90 day commitment to myself. Thanks.

    I got a new pair of running shoes, and it was time to move on. It really was just a play on the fact it took me so long to be able to do ten pushups on the second step. I wanted to show I already got stronger and had to move on. The shoes were just a video "Call back" to that. I hope it made you laugh.

  • 8 tenths of a pound...that's peanuts.

    Ya notice I didn't have much about my diet on that camping vid?...but that beer kinda goes off to the side?..LOL

    I really let loose new years as well....love that launcher btw (thumbs up).

    In fact to be honest I've used a lot of stress as an excuse to over eat the past six weeks.

    All of that is behind me, behind you, and behind the rest of doing this.

    Today (I'm writing this Monday) is day one.

    And the ass kicking starts now my friend(s).

  • 8/10ths is not much but then again it could have been a loss. If I look back at all the weeks I put on just 8/10th or less, that is what got me up to 360lbs. I need to do everything possible to make sure it goes down each and every week!

    Here is to day two!
