The snow leopard operating system is incredibly easy to hack; there are plenty of known viruses out there. The problem though is that simply more people have windows and linux based operating systems that there is no need to hack a mac. As soon as more people get macs, there'll be more viruses, but hopefully people will get there shit straight and not believe the lies presented to them (for example; macs don't get viruses)

And since most of the vital information like account numbers and passwords aren't saved on the harddrive you would have to hack hotmail or yahoo or something like that, when you get a virus you don't get hacked it's a program that installs itself on your harddrive and THEN do thing like ereasing files etc.

MAC is a UNIX family and it has some exploits too.. a hacker can hack into your MAC/PC/Linux (An computer OS in general) and can keep a keylogger program.. and guess what.. each and every word you type will be monitored by him.. your acc no passwords etc etc..

@jerryfinsternumber9 thats not completely true. Because one of the strengths and weakness for a PC is the easy access for the system with, for example "console". That makes its so much more vulnerable to viruses because the easily access the system. A mac is hard to change and is very done, but the strength of that is, you just cant go in and change it like that. The other thing is, Apple works very hard to avoid viruses. If you get one, you can send you mac to them and they'll do the research.

@guitaruler True, True. But when you exclude things like console, you also exclude the ability to use it for your own, thus hindering the user experience. When my program crashes on Windows, I open up task manager and shut off the program. On a Mac, I would open up Force Quit and then let the goddam piece of shit sit their with the little wheel spinning around while I shut off the computer. This isn't console, but it is a good example of how windows uses its source code.
