  • ha its like the train took a dump lol

  • I see Rich, Steve, Zach, and many other volunteers from the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society! So cool that you have this video!

  • @Kleman09 I thought it was interesting, Stuff behind the scenes you dont

    normally get to see.

I don't know anybody at these meets, I guess I'm a bit of a loner.

  • Corection to the title,

actually the thing going on here is there cleaning out the ash from the shaking of the grates and cleaning of the ash pan.

  • Ok, Thanks for the info. I will change the title.

  • No problem,

    sorry if I sounded rude.

    Cool you filmed this.

  • I didn't think it was rude. Am always open to corrections. That's how people learn. I'm 51

    and learn somthing new everyday.

  • The peasants cleaning up after the horse.

  • So what is the latest on the 759? Is it in some kind of restoration from the "freeze"damage? Glad your taping the ann arbor "gig"! I work most saturdays.

  • I would have replied earlier, I dont know anything about 759. Maybe someone will answer your question. Or you could google it.

  • I'll bet they had some type of "pit" they ran over and then the "ash" man took it from there! Dissappointed @ the 765's open house today as the engine was'nt even there! Its up in mich waiting for the oct 3rd gig with the 1225. But now they have room and time to restore the small engine from Swinney Park that sat out in all kinds of weather for years just like the 765 did before the restore in 1972!

  • Yes, 765 will be dblheading with 1225. 1225 is

making a run to Ann Arbor in Sept. Watch for videos from me. I am going to film her!

  • Of course I missed this event but when was it anyways and I'll try to see next year! By the way was this how they handled the ashes way back when? There must be a easier way!

  • It was in July. I dont think it is a yearly event but I did hear that they might do it again next year!

Not sure what methods were used in the past.

I would think they would have developed a faster

    way.

  • I saw Pete Lerro cross in front of you . wre you to the night photo shoot?

    Len.

  • Hi Len,

No, I didn't sign up for the night photo shoot. Had I known

they would provide lighting I would have! This video

was shot the last night of Train Festival. I was off the

grounds and shooting through a fence. They had kicked

us out around 6:30 I think.

    Rob
