Yet i notice Hockey tried to take credit for the 50 Billion Dollar deal. Saying we did a lot to get that through. i cannot believe how ignorant all the commentors here are about the very principles of an ETS: tax scheme? are you insane? the very principle of an emissions trading scheme is that it's a *market-based mechanism* involving industry, commercial and financial participation in permit allocation and exchange. yes there is a cap, but it hardly comes into stringent effect until 10 years down the line, and still it is negotiated and incorporated into both management and industry strategy. wake up!

Here is what i do not understand. If you agree or disagree on the Science. The world is Polluted. It cannot be good for the Earth or us. Clearly something needs to be done.
