I agree that Paige brought a lot of fun and camp to the show and Shannen was into the dark drama side of the show.
And I did notice that the original three had such a fiercely strong chemistry that obviously died around the end of season 3.
The writers tried to distract viewers from noticing that the chemistry died in the later seasons by focusing on the men and their relationships instead of the sisterly bonds.

They never have regular group hugs as a three since Prue left. I don't think Paige will ever fit in as well as Prue.
