So instead of putting your iphone onto a dock that has a wire --- you put your iphone into a proprietary case onto the powermat that can't sync to your computer ... that has a wire.

it is not wireless, it is just another way of charging a device, it is touching the metallic surface. i would call it wireless if the device is at least not touching a metallic surface

No wires.......... =.= You just drop the phone onto the pad (not literally) and thats it, it charges, where as to a plug you have to plug the cable in and unplug it, when you're in a hurry, just grab and go...

I think they should have done what powermat did with the powercube. Like cut out all the silicon pieces on the case and just leave the reciever and plugin, then put like a piece if velcro to attach the reciever piece to a case. and a extra USB port on the wildcharge mat would be nice.

the bottom should have a pass thorugh 30 pin, so can also use a normal charger if you have to. An example would be a car charger, cause you cannot take that big thing in your car. The bumps on the road would keep breaking the charge connection.
