I remember my grandma didn't really like watching TV, but she liked this one, and she had a lot to say. Both of my grandparents were born during the reign of the second last emperor. Yes, people, they are more than 100 years old if they're still alive. As a child, my grandparents were living history to me. They recorded their birthdates not as 18XX, it's born during the Nth year of the reign of Emperor XXX. I remember I loved to go through their possessions, e.g. the coins they used.

I honestly thought I'll never hear this song again. Tis another one from the museum. It's the theme song of a TV series in 1975. It's a story about the third last emperor of China. The woman in the picture is Liza Wang, it's also her voice in the song. The emperor's love story was kinda like Prince Charles'. The role played by Liza Wang was the emperor's sweetheart, but his mom made him select another woman as the queen, so Liza became his most beloved concubine. (to be continued)

光緒帝在稚年時被慈禧太后選入宫中做皇帝(他是慈禧太后的親生子­同治帝的同太公弟弟,載字輩,跟溥儀的父親攝政王載灃是同輩);­他本身是一個傀儡,但他仍然有一顆愛國之心(他不愛共產黨,因為­當時還未有共產黨),他祇希望中國(大清帝國)強大。

光緒皇的失敗,可能由於他生長在深宫,對外界一知半解,若更貼切­地講,他「不知人間險惡」;就好像今天的中學生。

如果當年的慈禧太后比光緒帝早一日死去...........,­可惜,歷史沒有「如果」!!!
