I was afraid of loosing my stuff so I put my daedra artifacts and weapons in my chest at my home in windhelm. Still had my Badass spells. So at the end I got nothing and I was like " I KNEW IT". Then I saw this video and I was like -_- ... I am such a retard.

i was able to escape when the guards tried to capture me the first time, but then i came back to this town a while later and they captured me and put me in jail, but it didn't start a quest for me!! i'm just eternally stuck in the mine!! heelp?

I love this quest... The way i got out was just beat that puny orc in a brawl, kill madonach and every other son of a bitch in there. Get out, kill the spiders and sneak past the dwarven thingie bots. Now to only kill that orc at the beginning.... >:)

@MrJeppejep They didnt start hating on me atleast, as long as you dont attack any of em or get in their way. I also recommend getting out of the city pretty fast to make sure they dont get hostile.

To get rid of your bounty just simply get captured. When you're in Cidhna Mine you just select a ore, then you will be asked ''Do you want to pay your sentence'' then you click ''OK'' and your bounty free! :D

I killed Madanach (or whatever) and everyone in the mine. When I escaped Thonor told me that I did him a favor by killing them and he cleared me of the crimes. Here's my problem though, I still have a bounty of 1,000 and I can't seem to get rid it because the guards won't give me the option to pay it off. They just act normal. I don't get attacked, confronted, or anything but still, I don't want that bounty. Is this a glitch or something? Can anyone help?

I followed the Forsworn..They lead you to an encampment called DRUADACH REDOUBT and turn on you ha ha..seriously. Either its glitched or its because I killed madanach..? I mean their gonna kill all my KINSMEN and IM NORD!!

I just wanted out without taking a hit to some stats.....so Ive decided to reload and let them kill each other off...and flee to join the Stormcloaks..after all they saved you in the begginning..and i need to get back to the main quest...al this side questing is tiring.

iv completed this quest and every time i go to markath the guards tell me that i have to go back to the prison in the mine but iv completed the quest and after all the dialogue it just restarts the conversation so i can't do anything in markath because the guards are constantly chasing me =[

@legend563 I found a way to fix it, but ya need to have no completed the Civil War questline. If you ally with the Stormcloacks eventually you get a quest to blackmail the Jarl of Markath's Uncle/Advisor. Now if ya can get away fromt he guards long enough to blackmail him he helps you out then you complete the quest and the next time you go to Markath your bounty is gone and all of the guards are replaced with Stormcloak soldiers. even the Jarl is replaced by a Stormcloack.

@legend563 What I did was sumbit to go to jail during the dialogue and back out immediately and run towards the advisor it should make it so whenever a guard gets close all he does is try to arrest you so can easily run and steal his amulet then run and talk to him then get the heck outta there. After that finish it up by talking to Ulfric and the next time ya head to Markath should have Stormcloak guards there and no bounty and no hostilities since you're their buddy.

This quest line is glitchy. I've done both, fight the guards to get into Cidna and surrender to get into Cidna. I completed all the Forsworn Conspiracy plot points prior. I do not get any Madanoch speech options in the prison. I can only get(pick pocket is faster) the skooma and trade it for a shiv. No option to trade the shiv for entry to Madanoch. No key if you kill everyone, either. :/ Ideas?

In my only other save, I haven't even discovered the city to start the Forsworn Conspiracy, so I really don't want to do it.
