@PlanetHarlem. It seems you don't really know the history of these DJ's or the ability of Cash Money!. Cash Money invented many styles of cuttin which Jazzy Jeff took on also it was Cash Money who invented the battle style. I respect Jeff as a DJ but for many of us in Europe Cash is the dude we refer to as a legend. Peace

Serato and other DJ programs are the move. I don't have to carry crates of records any more. I no longer say Damn I should have that record. So for those purest out there who say serato is not what real DJs use. Then before every party you go to the DJ house and carry his records in your car. If he did nit bring a record you go back and get it for him.

I respect KRS -1 for his contributions to hip hop....but from a DJ standpoint not everyone has money to get everything on vinyl. You may not even live next to a record store because they are closing so fast in this economy. Serato not only gives access for you to create more but it takes your imagination to the next level. Ironically enough the people that would benefit the most from the new technology coming out are vinyl vets. They have the foundation and now they can get even more creative.

Don't forget that Jazzy Jeff was the ITF World Champion in 1987 and Cash Money was the DMC World Champion in 1988.
