Am I no am wrong for saying this but all i can do is concentrate on the Pirate with the 1leg good bless his soul he gat the bug call speed i like !!!!!love it...1.3 starlet about to trade in my 1.5 civic for 1...will use as a daily driver..and leave my Evolution1 for track duty!!!my the stalet also lol 95 starlets are best will put a GT 30 in it and that will be it....................

Your Glanza is....well....there are no other words to describe it but AWESOME! When I was in Okinawa, I always wanted to do the TD04 setup on my '96 Glanza V. I miss that car. But of course, the wife put the brakes on the build, so the farthest I ever got was FMIC and TRD suspension. Those were the good ol' days. Anywho, you motor safely my friend!

off the line its better to go for small turbos so it kicks in at lower revs and has less lag.

glanzas are to heavy for my liking, thats why i brought a Mk1 gt turbo , 133 hp stock and weights around 830stock compared to your 970

Sorry mate i don't know too much about cars but the standard turbo is a CT9 and you replaced it with a TD04 from a Subaru? ;) What supporting mods would be required?

just seen ur comment and have to add you dont have to just use a subaru turbo, which is a td04L u can use many differnt ones. i have a td04 9b which is out of a GTO, atually am selling it at the moment. can use td04 11g and so on tdo5s tdo6 loads and then garrett turbos hks, blitz turbos the list is endless. supporting mods low end power tlaking 220bhp, walbro fuel pump 330cc injectors and some sort of ecu like emange or power fc. or even apexi afc neo air/fuel controller. reli theres loads

Yeah, was hard getting off the line. First time on the QTR, no LSD etc. Car has 275hp and is even more mad now, but oh well I getting rid of it and moving on to something slow! Fancy a change.

Erm, 1bar. Later I forged everything up and ran 1.4bar. 275hp. I've gotten rid of the car now though.

@rottermann i think safely the most power is about 200-220bhp at 1 bar on the std ct9 turbo.there isn't muc point going over 1 bar of boost on the std ct9 turbo so witha td04 fitted and a forged engine you can go to about 1.5 bar.i've seen a gt producing 270bhp from 1.2 bar on a tdo4 with forged internals.

the gt that gee is racing has massive alloys! they must be 16'17s which would help him get a much better start (traction wise) but when you run 15s with what ever tire at 1 bar boost on a TD04 things are going to spin, especaially if your new to the quarter mile!

you can see that the GT Turbo is lighter, that is why it fired out on the green light, but then, as you said the bigger turbo made its job...well done....

My car is now running 1.4bar of boost and is 275hp. This vid was when it was running 220hp. It is also stripped out and my power/weight ration is about or over 300hp per ton.

yo your glanza's can't keep up with the glanza's from suriname they do 1/4mile in 12sec and there is a starlet gt turbo here in suriname and it runs a 11sec at 1/4mile can you beat that???

No Glanza's running those times here in the UK. I know of a GT running 11 seconds in Aus and a Glanza running 11's in Malta thou.

My forged engine is in now, just running it in so will be boosted to 1.4 bar. Will get it back out on track then.

i would have a starlet,if i never had the cherry,love small engined cars which can teach the big boys a lesson!my cars a 1.5,easy to get power out without spending big bucks,other nissan turbo bits fit this car,turbos,trottle bodies etc.check out E15et on youtube,aussies love these cars,first car with injection turbo!love a little line up.where u from?old skool!

Not 100% on the mods, but it was running about 13psi I believe. I am only running 1bar, which=222bhp and 200+ torque. I have forged bits to go in my other engine, so will be boosting to 1.4bar then, which will be around 264bhp at the fly.
