He was definitely throwing the Hail Mary but he knew he still had a slim chance of out-microing his opponent due to his range advantage after blocking off the dt attack (not really). But the KEY was the scouting probe - the scout revealed his opponents build and he knew he had to pressure with goons and obs against the fast dt build and, allowed the rest of his workers to advance in the attack uncluttered.

Dragoons in original Brood War are notorious for having terrible AI pathing and firing animations, and anyone who can make them perform like they are here is seriously good at the game.

After technically having lost the game to a cheesy move, he gets a small window of opportunity to sacrifice all of his workers (source of income) and try to bust his opponents defenses because his army is more powerful. What you are seeing is micro. The player:

Focus fires enemy units to bring down numbers faster

Moves his own units around to take less damage

Blocked his opponents dragoon with a probe to fire at it where it couldnt fire back (no range upgrade)

Distributes damage equally on units as much as possible (to have more dragoons for a longer period of time, and thus a higher damage output)

This is a comeback from an almost impossible position, and even though a win is a win, microing units to victory in such a battle is considered more skillful and awesome than fast DTs.

yellow played terribly in the end, even his newly build units didnt attack immediately, but he wanted to turn them back, he shouldnt go back at all with probes also but try to attack at all cost, whenever he tried to return to minerals he was losing units anyway: as he would lose them in the fight, but this way he would at least cause some damage, and maybe win by like maybe 1 probe in the end

It's always ideal to pull probes right after spending most of your minerals. If you have like 80 minerals, the probes are used FAR more efficiently mining 25 more minerals then fighting. In most fights, the majority of the probes shouldn't be pulled at all so that they can mine the maximum time possible. Pulling every probe is almost always a guaranteed loss.

Has to be the best conclusion to a televised game ever. I'd call the game incredible, however not the micro. Definately close to flawless, but I mean it's still just 3 goons - max 3 "groups" you have to move. What I prefer more here is the guts to go for that attack instead of trying to rebuild. I don't know if it's totally impossible to do a comeback from that spot by rebuilding though.
