If that's your interpretation of my argument, than fine - but the argument still stands that there was an instance in which action should have been taken, but wasn't, and here, with RVD, you have an instance in which action was taken, but over-exaggerated.

Batista got to burn a ton of bridges, but is still pulling his duty as the poster boy for SmackDown - I don't see any complaints there.

Action should have been definitely taken. RVD hasn't been punished that hard. He lost the belts, got suspended and came back to upper midcard status where is guarenteed never to see the belt again but still get wins. I don't like Batista as Smackdown's poster boy. Smackdown is the best wrestling show on right now, and him as champion is holding it back in my opinion. Batista is just Triple H's unmotivated friend. Blah.

The video was decent but i anticipated so much more. I personally am all for RVD being punished but after watching this video, i can honestly say that i am "still" all for RVD being punished. The way I see it, it's comparing apples to apples, as in one instance, where action should've been taken, wasn't, and in the other, action was taken when realistically, it probably shouldn't have been nearly as severe as it was.

I understand what your saying but i think you're wrong because your entire defence for RVD relys on the situation of somebody else. just because Little did alot worse and got away with it doesnt excuse RVD from the punishment he recieved because of his actions. RVD screwed RVD and thats it.

I think you forget that the internet is also counted as a median of the mass media along with TV, Radio, Movies, mags and books. So Websites reporting the arrest story do in fact count as "media coverage."

The arrest was not only covered by wrestling websites, it also ended up in a number of newspapers and here are the website links to prove it.

Yes, the internet counts, but I'm still looking for major media coverage of it, such as your CNN's, MSNBC's, Fox News', and local networks such as ABC's, NBC's and so forth. That's what I'm looking for - not the Rajahs, Wrestling Oberservers, and such forth.

A little off topic, but its really funny to see you discredit smaller news venue for not being as recognizable as CNN or MSNBC, but you constantly defend ROH as being better than organizations far larger than them.

Oh man I'm so envious, Your gonna get to see Samoa Jo vs Takeshi Morishima!!!! I hope ROH draw a large crowd, fuck, I'd go myself if I'd heard of this show a few months earlier. Great defense for RVD, not a fan of his myself but if what you say is all true, and I have nothing to disprove it, having him lose both world titles was certainly an exaggeration.
