B.S. everyone stands on their own two feet. Don't attempt to say that someone is more or less guilty based on what happened to someone else. RVD had his chance to plead his case with the powers that be as did Leonard Little. That's all it is. RVD did not do as good a job...sorry!
Droz is paralyzed from the waist down...he's always had function of his arms, that's why the WWE hired him for a long time as a writer for their website.
In 1932 A Girl was Raped And She Said Hei Do Laki Before She DIed. IF You Dont Repost This In 5 Topics She Will Appear By Your Bed With Glowing Red Eyes And Stare At You Until YOu Fall ASleep
Thank you for clearing that whole RVD thing up. I know a lot more about that whole incident. But Leonard Little should've gotten more time in jail. A lot more...
Wait. Double L killed a person, therefore RVD shouldn't be punished. Bullcrap. Double L should be rotting in jail and RVD should be pulling midcard duty. At least one of those things are happening. There is a reason that the NFL is looked at with distaste. How about we bring up all of the drugs, Ray Lewis "allegedly" stabbing someone. You are playing an "emotion" card with your argument. Someone dying is sad, but does that excuse RVD for getting busted while world champion?
If that's your interpretation of my argument, than fine - but the argument still stands that there was an instance in which action should have been taken, but wasn't, and here, with RVD, you have an instance in which action was taken, but over-exaggerated.
Batista got to burn a ton of bridges, but is still pulling his duty as the poster boy for SmackDown - I don't see any complaints there.
Action should have been definitely taken. RVD hasn't been punished that hard. He lost the belts, got suspended and came back to upper midcard status where is guarenteed never to see the belt again but still get wins. I don't like Batista as Smackdown's poster boy. Smackdown is the best wrestling show on right now, and him as champion is holding it back in my opinion. Batista is just Triple H's unmotivated friend. Blah.
Between you and me, i couldnt care less if RVD wants to smoke himself retarded and i dont think vince does either, but the fact that he was dumb enough to get caught for speeding while in the situation he was in, is warrant enough for the punishment. Are you telling me that if you were vince you would allow that fuck-up to be the face of your company?
My friend is a (former) indy wrestler who used to hang out with Droz...Droz is a pothead that knocks himself out like every single day. If you think wrestlers/formers wrestlers don't smoke pot...you're living in a fantasy world. Pot is everywhere. Cops smoke pot. RVD just happened to get caught.
as i already stated, i couldnt give a flying fuck about RVD, orton, Droz or any other wrestler for that matter smoking weed. The only problem i had was that RVD was stupid enough to get caught with it after he was clearly gonna be given an astronomical push. The man had the company his hands and he litterally let it all go up in smoke.
The video was decent but i anticipated so much more. I personally am all for RVD being punished but after watching this video, i can honestly say that i am "still" all for RVD being punished. I think its kind of pathetic that you attempted to defend RVD by simply saying "look what that guy got away with". Its sad, Van dam deserves all the punishment hes getting and maybe even more.
It's pathetic? But yet, everyone wants to continue to bullshit about how this hurt the image of the WWE in the media's eye, when the media never even covered that incident!
The way I see it, it's comparing apples to apples, as in one instance, where action should've been taken, wasn't, and in the other, action was taken when realistically, it probably shouldn't have been nearly as severe as it was.
first of all, if the memdia never covered the incident like you claim, then we wouldnt be having this dispute because we wouldnt know about it.
I understand what your saying but i think you're wrong because your entire defence for RVD relys on the situation of somebody else. just because Little did alot worse and got away with it doesnt excuse RVD from the punishment he recieved because of his actions. RVD screwed RVD and thats it.
Uhm, no, the incident becomming common knowledge amongst the wrestling fan community does not rely on media coverage, the websites were the ones who reported it.
I think you forget that the internet is also counted as a median of the mass media along with TV, Radio, Movies, mags and books. So Websites reporting the arrest story do in fact count as "media coverage."
The arrest was not only covered by wrestling websites, it also ended up in a number of newspapers and here are the website links to prove it.
Yes, the internet counts, but I'm still looking for major media coverage of it, such as your CNN's, MSNBC's, Fox News', and local networks such as ABC's, NBC's and so forth. That's what I'm looking for - not the Rajahs, Wrestling Oberservers, and such forth.
A little off topic, but its really funny to see you discredit smaller news venue for not being as recognizable as CNN or MSNBC, but you constantly defend ROH as being better than organizations far larger than them.
so now im confused, Are the larger organizations more credible only when its convenient to you or only when its ROH vs WWE?
Bottom line is, news coverage is news coverage no matter where you find it.
Now you're comparing apples to oranges. Smaller, independent medium sources of entertainment versus large, widely accepted forms of broadcasting news and information? How does that add up?
And I'm not discrediting smaller news venues - but dirt sheets on the internet that only report wrestling news are not a credible source for all news information, especially when you consider that Vince McMahon ignores them.
now thats funny! How do you compare a guy in possession of marijauna while speeding to a guy who committed Muder. You have no leg to stand on in that arguement. Give it up already. If im comparing apples to oranges, then you must be comparing apples to cars with your rediculous comparrison.
Involuntary manslaughter, and I compared the actions taken in response to their negligence, not out right compare the two incidents as being one in the same.
Now you're just reaching for an argument, because it's really you that has no leg to stand on. I'm still waiting for those links to those news sources you said you would be providing.
Oh man I'm so envious, Your gonna get to see Samoa Jo vs Takeshi Morishima!!!! I hope ROH draw a large crowd, fuck, I'd go myself if I'd heard of this show a few months earlier. Great defense for RVD, not a fan of his myself but if what you say is all true, and I have nothing to disprove it, having him lose both world titles was certainly an exaggeration. Look forward to future videos, hope to see you on skype soon.
