Stop the presses! Colin has a new MT! Hah! Mate, I think Leatherman should make you an official MT tester. All those in favour say AYE! :D
I like trim sheaths for my MT's, I like to total nylon one for the charge, trim and fits a chapstick and firesteel on the sides, bitkit in the back and a pair of gripper tweezers in the front. Perfect :)
@Smith28Adventure Haha, yeah that would be awesome Smith, I doubt that would happen. Nice set up with you sheath you have, I do like the nylon Charge sheath, very trim.
your welcome colin. you know that date stamp? well, the die that stamp this has date inserts, which are burned onto inserts using electricity and oil. then set into wire e.d.m. cut outs at set points. every time the date logo chips, the die comes back for replacment. pain in the back side! but the parts will not pass inspectin with the slightest chip or scratch. top of the line parts only. alot goes into the making, thus the cost. cheers my friend
@PHARRAOH Hi Alan, thank you so much again my good friend. Sounds like some very tight tolerances on the machining. Makes the tools more special and of top quality. Hope you have a great week my friend, take care.
sweet tool mate im thinking of geting myself the multie tool and sugestions i was looking at the black wave as its in my budget and looks verry nice im willing to spend a bit more if there is anything better bering in minde that i am i 16 year old boy XD
I think you need to do a video to show which is your favourite and why. The MUT looks pretty good, but it has too many features for machine gun maintenance. Of the rest I like the titanium one.
I considered one of the Gerbers a while ago, as they take the Jig Saw blades, I think that is a neat feature.
Very cool Colin. Got my TTI a couple of days ago. Love it, though idiot here almost sliced off the end of his thumb closing the blade at work today. Pure brain fade. Must remember to move thumb after disengaging the liner lock. And the Leatherman Serac S2 fits well in the side pocket of the sheath. Very good back up torch. Won the bit extender on ebay today. Think that'll do me for multitools for quite some time. Don't want to end up with one of those mutitool addictions. LOL. :)
@351xb1973 Thanks my friend. Glad you got your TTi, great choice. Aye I have been there with the thumb lol. Sounds like you are well equipped now my friend. Take care :-)
Is your house constructed out of multitools? Has your cat been replaced by a robot made from multitools and craps out Leatherman squirts? HAHA jokes brother. The black versions look weird, the blueing or whatever they do leaves the tool all blotchy. Still nice, got my black wave a few days ago.
what excellent gifts Col!, must a top bloke to send that to you, looking forward to the review and any of your future vids, cheers and be safe brother
Colin....you should see someone about your addiction.....there is help available out there you know........ROFL. Congrats on getting the MT and the sheath, they are both nice looking. Thanks for sharing. Take Care :-))
