Quinoa is an Incan super food/protein originated from PERU, highly regarded in that culture for its nutritional benefits. Just a quick fact, Thanks :)
Over the past few months our entire family has stopped eating meat. we are not quite 'vegan' yet, but were getting there... so iam always on the lookout for a new dish to serve when its my turn to cook (i'm 15) and this was sooooo gooood i jst couldn't hardly believe it. Thanks :)
@EchoChick2009 That is fantastic. Who's idea was it to start the meatless revolution in your house? I love it! I am glad that you liked the video. Have you tried the recipe yet?
I am so glad that you posted this recipe, I knew nothing about Quinoa until watching your tutorial. this is really helpful because I have been looking for low glycemic soy alternatives. I will certainly try this recipe.
@MsPassover07 Quinoa is the "hidden" secret. :) I just started eating Quinoa myself. Do you eat oatmeal or cream of wheat? You can use Quinoa instead for a "hot" cereal since it is starting to get cold (at least where I am at). Let me know how it turns out!
@beyondthegarden I do eat hot cereal through out the year, so I will definatley keep Quinoa in mind as an alterantive. I'll let you know how the salad turns out :)
