Apart from being my 1st 3D game ever as well as being my 5th Caslevania i had ever played, The castle wall scared me as a child. I was that kid who discovered the series from their parents. We own every castlevania to date. I beat 1-5 at the ages of 6-9. Played LoD after my uncle brought it to my house one day. But Damn, Everytime i got to the wall, i would die from falling. This game is STILL hard for me at 18 but it's still a good game nonetheless. One of my Favorites.

I had the N64 Cartridge Box for this game and on the rear, I could have sworn that I saw a snapshot of Cornell in the Castle Center stage, in the room where the Lizard Men come out of some wall containers and spit at you. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, Please.

well i think that they actually put that in there by mistake. they usually have screenshots for games long before they are released and you never see that area of the game for that specific character. it may have gotten thrown in by accident

Not slightly by any means. Aside from having Cornell, who is awesome, there are new levels, many of the old levels have been completely redesigned and are much better, some of the music was retouched, there are new bosses (Medusa and Queen Arachne), Reinhardt and Carrie have new costumes, you can power up your subweapons, the camera was vastly improved, the texturing and graphics are altogether better, and lots of other small touches were added.

It was in higher resolution on the N64 cos it used the expansion pack, but this is just basically CV64 with added extra levels and characters, so yeah it's the "advanced" version lol.

playing as cornell to the end, unlock Henry. Then, saving all the kids using Henry will unlock the other modes. Each boy saved is a "new option" unlocked, such as hard mode, as well, carrie and reinhardt's mode, then, their secret outfits, things like that ^^ good luck

If my memory is correct, you first had to beat Cornell's story, then beat Henry's story, then that unlocks the 2 original characters in Castlevania 64 (I can't remember their names)
