@cendrick I just wanted to say if you look at the current religious state of the North American Church....well you get my point. Our best is not good enough! I wonder if you asked Finney, Whitcliffe, Spurgeon, Moody etc if REVIVAL was open for interpretation or would they laugh you off and tell you to repent? YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY OR RIGHT TO DEFINE SOMETHING YOU DO NOT WALK IN - I beleive we call that presumptiousness or speculation. In love I say this I am not mad or angry!

My point is exactly that people talk revival and do nothing to promote one. You can talk all day long about being Holy and seeking Gods face. etc etc etc......Answer me a question why is it not happening? People are going to hell by the loads (broad is the way....) sound familiar? Narrow is the path and few who find it! Guys reach the lost ! Convert them to Christ and PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO BURN THAT DEMONIC SINNERS PRAYER I BEG YOU!

I am amazed at ALL the discussions of revival and the disecting of what it is and is not. To be honest if you have not conducted one in the modern day you should stop talking about it and be silent. It is embarrasing to God! The ideas of it as i hear them are not only foreign to my spirit but i am convinced God doesnt even know what most of these ministers are talkiing about

Weird....I´ve search thru the whole Bible and couldn´t find ONE verse that it will come a world wide revival these last days that many christians claim...the only revival I see is in about 4 of 100 christians that holds the commandments and the faith of Jesus (and I don´t mean the charismatic movevement with their false miracles). God bless you all!

@avilakaj Spurgeon believed there was ample scriptural basis for a world-wide revival and preached several sermons on revival. Four verses he used were: isaiah 51:3, Isaiah 52:10, Amos 9:13, Isaiah 2:11. There is MUCH encouragement in the Word to pray for a global revival. Is anything too hard for the LORD?

I have been praying for revival too, and my church and my friends church are doing the same! We are walking through our neigborhoods praying over the community! All for the glory of our Lord!
