I hate people who are bad w/ gmod 10 (people in comments not creator) for gmod you need half life 2 on steam then buy gmod download models put models in ur garrysmod addon folder play the game and u should have it the model just put in tails or sonic models and there u go

Whoa Whoa, if anything dont put em in your addons but take the files out from say "Sonic Playermodels" folder and put the materials, models, lua and all that stuff in your Garrysmod/Garrysmod folder and mabey it would load then.

Ill PM you my plight as it is complex and sad and full of fail and especially long.

There are three folders and a file. materials, models, settings, and info. They are all in one folder. Correct me if Im wrong but that seems like a folder that would go into addons. And I think Ive tried that before, but as soon as I get my Gmod folder out of the recycle bin (yeah too late God Im so stupid) and get all my old addons and files back, I'll try again.

They were OGG. file format, you might need to convert them.

type sv_cheats 1 in console, then type thirdperson

Google Garrys mod files and go to the main site, search ekywords sonic/tails/models or playermodels download the pack that contains the skins and place em in your addons folder of garrys mod!

I took a lot of playermodels and I still have the classic models (Kleiner, Alyx, Metro Cop, etc.)

If anyone can help me, please reply!

If this helps, I have gmod 10 but I still think there's a way to play with other models.

its insanely simple to do this,but tutorials make it over complicated,but its REAL simple:

when u down load the player model file,it should have 3 files: models,materials,and settings/lua (either name with that last one)

then, u put all 3 of those files into this directory:

C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/(your steam id name)/garrysmod/garrysmod

say yes to all merging files,then u shud see them in the character select!
