  • Just a great job Bro! Been listenin 2 Jarre since uumm err 80-ish? Spot on. Married geek like me with our home studio rigs. Cool S*#t.

  • great!

  • Nice work!

  • Amazing cover! But what are the notes on that very fast part? I hope you know which part I mean, it starts from 1:13. I'm trying to learn that part, but I don't find any videos where I can see that very fast combination of these notes... :(

  • @1314mat Oxygene 2 is in "The Jean Michel Jarre Songbook". I got this out of the library before buying it from ebay, it shouldn't be too much. There was a complete Oxygene score but this is harder to get. Ask your library, if they don't have either they can order from another library. The fast bit takes a lot of doing to get right, I played very slowly and kept repeating until I could start to speed it up. I played it every night for a month before I got it. Don't give up!

  • @Laura041974: Thank you, but I already own two songbooks and I learned Oxygene 2 already. ;)

  • @1314matt I'm sorry, I don't look at dates, didn't know you've found it since. I've only got the first book. I had a go at some but I can't do all the parts! Most of the music here seems impossible without several people and synths or multitrack recording so I've bought some Bach pieces to try instead.

  • @Laura041974 I have that Songbook too, but I am sure it has errors in the score on this song. The printed solo differs from the real melody.

  • @ccengine I think so too, I played it ever so slowly but there's more in the recording. He wants you to improvise in some pieces! Does this mean he also wants you to use the score as a basis for your own sounds as well rather than try to recreate his sounds exactly? The Dr Who theme allows the most freedom in interpretation but in other synth music the aim seems to be to get as close to the original recorded sounds as possible! Is this the idea or should you make your own way?

  • great version!

  • Amazing and Great Cover.

    High five*****

  • @MrSkywalker1000 Thanks :)

  • And the analogic sounds where they come from?

  • @103959770979 All the sounds are either from the Radias or from Logic's software synths

  • @dubois623 Merci bien!

  • Niiiiiiicce! The slip at the end doesn't really detract from a great tribute. Bravo!
