Max is an alien, that can heal humans with his hand. The other one outside is his friend Michael, alien too, and somewhat like his best friend. The episode started with an accident in front of these two guys. a father saved his child from a car accident and died....

So now the father appears Max as ghost and blames him, that his child and wife r alone now. Max can't stand the guilt and talks with his friends about it. One has an idea: Max' boss has a daughter and she has cancer, he should heal her instead. So he went to the house but she had a relapse...so he went to the hospital...

He and his best friend Michael (alien/ 2nd in Command) broke into the hospital to heal the children of the Cancer Ward at the risk of his own life (draining his life force). It was Max's heroic effort to make up for a life he could not save. It was one of the best episodes of the series.

@hunkydaboyz. The TV show was called Roswell (2000-2002). This character healing the children is named, Max. He is an alien from the Roswell, NM crash that has the power to heal. In this episode (Christmas episode), he had the chance to save a man from dying from being hit by a car. He chose not to to prevent being recognized as an alien (and thus being studied/autopsied). He found out a friend's child had cancer.

I honestly can say I'd have done the exact same thing Max did, healing all those children. Despite what Liz told Max, if you have the power to heal, I don't see how or why you'd just stand by and do nothing. God's plan or not, I think anyone would have done what Max did.

Interesting: I guess the religious explanation would be that Max was an angel sent by God to heal the children. The reality is that Max was an atheist, and had he not taken it on himself to use his alien powers, all those children would likely have died. It may be better to put your faith in aliens.

So even if Max received his powers from 'aliens', the gift that Max received from them was ultimately a gift from God. Oh, and there is a God. There is so much evidence even without the church, the bible, the testimonials, the miracles, the problem of explaining how all this became to be then you still have spirits, ghosts.

I have a daughter thats on life support and I wish I could do what he's doing.

I asked god to take me instead of her, at 2 hours of her birth she had 4 heart attacks and 1 day old she went through open heart surgary, she 3 yrs old now but I had to take her to E.R. at 200am, one lung calapsed., and to make it worse my wife left us since she was born. I would gladly give my life up if it means saving hers. This song makes me very sad. GOD BLESS YOU MAIA.
