Am I the only one who thinks the Tenth Doctor looks cooler in the Ninth Doctor's outfit? Then again, David Tennant is so handsome he'd probably make the Sixth Doctor's tacky coat look runway-ready.
David tennant tried moving on from doctor who because he specifically had said that if he didn't move on now he never will. But he wants to be back again. Remember that in the series 4 special there is a deleted scene of the 10th doctor giving his clone a chunk of tardis to grow his own. But remember the tardis has traveled through the void a couple times so David will return to star aside with matt

I really think it's up to the writers about the regenerations. And having watched both the classic and new episodes-ALL of them, i've come to understand this the characters-espicially the doctor, LIE. It helps shut the companions up when the doctor needs to focus or give them an idea of timelord workings with a limited understanding. It's a bit cruel, but the doctor, who's earlier forms seem to have gone over better ways a bit faster to help people understand, needs to focus. The new who forms

@Stinkfly3 Timelords have 12 regenerations. The Tardis wiki has a whole page on regenerations with a dozen episodes and novels in which this is mentioned, if you want "authoritative" sources. tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Regeneration
The reason that The Master shows up as being all decayed in some of the earlier episodes is that he ran out of regenerations. I don't know how he refreshed them in time for New Who -- maybe that's how the Doctor will continue.

I think hopping for our lives is a reference to his 7th regeneration in the episode The Happiness Patrol-the planet was ruled in essence by one woman (who created the very first murderous Candyman in the episode) who couldn't bear unhappiness, and hopping was a happy thing. So she made unhappiness against the law.
David looks good in black leather. Don't get me wrong, I love the brown suit; it makes him look more grown up. But he's so cute in the leather jacket. With the hair he looks like some punk kid; it's adorable.

I do agree with what you said , Matt Smith did have the bad luck of following David Tennant who everyone loved. I've been growing up with the new series. When I first saw it, back in 2005 when I was 9, I was scared of it, I watched it, but it was scary, I'm 14 now and I love it so much. I love the New and Classic Series. I like the 5th Doctor the best though, but David tennant is My second favorite.

He was scared to die because while he will remember being the 10th doctor, he won't be anymore. Different personality, Different "pilot" as it were.. they may remember but they aren't the same after a regeneration. Like the Tenth said regenerating "feels like dying".
Plus he can only regenerated 12 times before dying for real so he's running out of regenerations..
Okay I have a question. The 10th obviously remembered what happened durring his time as the 9th. So in "the eleventh hour" why did he seem so scared to die? Like he wouldn't remember anything. Then when he does become 11th, I really don't think he'd remember the previous set of people. He might though.
But anyways the 10th or Tennant was by far my favorite. I sure will miss him!
@AnbuIce He would remember eveything, just like his other incarnations. He was scarred because he thought he was genuinly going to die. It turned out that he just regenerated, but he loved that incarnation so much he didn't want to go. That's why he spent the last few mintues of 'The End of Time' holding the regeneration in; he didn't want to change.
David Tennant was and still is the Doctor as far as I am concerned. Matt Smith just doesn't compare. God how I wish they could just bring David Tennant back.
You can kinda tell he's just starting to get into the role here and get used to his English accent. He's much more classic Tennant in the next episode.

The 10th Doctor had more 'street smarts', and always had this aura of epicness - 11 is scatterbrained, attracted by everything shiny and way less dignified. And he's more the type to hide his feelings/shout at the world than to quietly mope in his corner with a heartbroken expression. There HAVE to be similarities, they're playing the same character - I thought that Matt's performance in series 5 showed
@Sulkyzz Extraordinarily well how the Doctor has learned from his mistakes in the past season. He may be played by a younger actor, but Matt's talented enough to still make the character feel 'older and wiser'.

He was scared to die because while he will remember being the 10th doctor, he won't be anymore. Different personality, Different "pilot" as it were.. they may remember but they aren't the same after a regeneration. Like the Tenth said regenerating "feels like dying".
Plus he can only regenerated 12 times before dying for real so he's running out of regenerations..

Okay I have a question. The 10th obviously remembered what happened durring his time as the 9th. So in "the eleventh hour" why did he seem so scared to die? Like he wouldn't remember anything. Then when he does become 11th, I really don't think he'd remember the previous set of people. He might though.
But anyways the 10th or Tennant was by far my favorite. I sure will miss him!

@AnbuIce He would remember eveything, just like his other incarnations. He was scarred because he thought he was genuinly going to die. It turned out that he just regenerated, but he loved that incarnation so much he didn't want to go. That's why he spent the last few mintues of 'The End of Time' holding the regeneration in; he didn't want to change.

David Tennant was and still is the Doctor as far as I am concerned. Matt Smith just doesn't compare. God how I wish they could just bring David Tennant back.

You can kinda tell he's just starting to get into the role here and get used to his English accent. He's much more classic Tennant in the next episode.

After watching Matt Smith... I hate to say it, but I feel depressed. He can't replace Tennant :(
The 10th doctor was.. well my one I suppose. I guess I'm just gonna have to re-watch the old epiosdes religilously instead now...

@Sulkyzz Where do you get that from? Matt's version is radically different from tennant's.
The 10th Doctor had more 'street smarts', and always had this aura of epicness - 11 is scatterbrained, attracted by everything shiny and way less dignified. And he's more the type to hide his feelings/shout at the world than to quietly mope in his corner with a heartbroken expression. There HAVE to be similarities, they're playing the same character - I thought that Matt's performance in series 5 showed

@Sulkyzz Extraordinarily well how the Doctor has learned from his mistakes in the past season. He may be played by a younger actor, but Matt's talented enough to still make the character feel 'older and wiser'.

I would have liked 9 better if he had stayed longer but I like 10 best!

Haha I like the 9th doctor, he was really good and always seemed in a good mood, but David is my doctor <3 He just has this... chipperness that makes me just love him ^^ Hoping Matt the best!

@SilverTonguedSnake Oh, I agree-- David Tennant wasn't bad by ANY stretch of the imagination, but Christopher Eccleston beat him out with a stick; I don't know if it was the coat or the short hair, or the accent, but he was just flat out *better*. My own opinion, but that's just how I feel.

@Marugirl I'll try. A mole, or a "beauty spot", appears when a capillary bursts through the lower layers of the skin and bursts. The resulting scar is a brown bump, looks like a small raisin or chocolate chip.

I was watching and actually felt very sorry for rose. Have hated matt for the past few months but I have realised now to give him a chance.
