If you want the ultimate you have to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not a tragedy dying doing what you love. I have a zx 14 and I have a few mods on it so I know what it's like to go at the speeds. So just remember that death is only a few inches to the left and a few inches to the right. One mistake and it is off to the next life. Keep that in mind. Love the video though.

the s1000rr is faster then the 08 model , but honda did update the engine in 2010, the gap between these bikes arent as wide as you think, but still the blades midrange is far beyond any liter bikes and the honda still is the best all around bike out the all the sport bikes, ill give it to bmw they made a fast bike, but if honda wanted to they could built bikes out of this world they can, they did in 1993 they did in 2008 an they can do it again..nice vid

You have excellent control, shifting technique is superb, breaking technique is excellent, your knee down is good on curb. Where is this in the southern state pkway in Long Island? This is the only place you can go that fast without any interruption. I used to live in brooklyn and ride in from cross bay blvd. Guys be careful and check ur bikes on every run. @rahimcutz Ocean parkway is the best place to go fast and not be disturbed on Long Island, nothing but a 8 mile straight road, no cars, no cops, no people, no entrance ramps, best place to max out your bikes, and 100 times better than southern state parkway.
@JohnFox1336 Ocean Parkway is the worst spot to fuck around on. No exits, no connecting road ways for evading the long arm of the Law. If the cops trap you off youre gonna have to work real hard to get away. And over the years the 2 lane section has gotten way to many dips, feels like youre on a roll coaster. Ill take the SS over it any time. Best places are every where but Ocean. 2 lane section of the Wantagh, Meadow Brook, Southern, and a few sections of the Northern State.

Yes, the S1000RR is a phenomenal piece of machinery. However keep it off public highways, hitting 180+ on a public road is a sure way to meet an early grave. At least find some country back roads.
Awesome video!!! I am about to buy one of these two bikes and it was really cool to see you guys going back and forth. I gotta ask which one do you guys like the most? I know the BMW has the top end power and the CBR has a little more middle range power. Does the electronics on the BMW help more at those speeds? Which bike feels safer or should I say handles better? We definitely know at those speeds not a lot of room for error.

I give everyone credit for what they do, stunting, dragracing, track events, and street riding. Mavus then you would appreciate the level of skill involved in riding hard at the track. I've ridden like this on the road before, and I still ride with a bit if enthusiasm when I hit a decent set of corners when there isn't traffic about. But, I've seen too many guys get injured or dead because of things their skill couldn't counter. The luck will eventually run out.

This is my 5th season riding on street and 4 year track, (thunderbolt) both car and bike, check my videos they have a couple of my r33 gtr skyline on the track and street with exotics. @marco696975 No, no it isn't. I'll take a S1000RR or a GSXR1000 over it any day. weight, brakes and power. Both have the advantage...not fond of the handling of it either but that's just a subjective preference. But there is one motorcycle better than all three...EX250, because on the roads I ride. Those others wont keep up, too twisty for the bloated pigs.

I have a zx 14 and I have a few mods on it so I know what it's like to go at the speeds. So just remember that death is only a few inches to the left and a few inches to the right. the s1000rr is faster then the 08 model , but honda did update the engine in 2010, the gap between these bikes arent as wide as you think, but still the blades midrange is far beyond any liter bikes and the honda still is the best all around bike out the all the sport bikes, ill give it to bmw they made a fast bike, but if honda wanted to they could built bikes out of this world they can, they did in 1993 they did in 2008 an they can do it again..nice vid

You have excellent control, shifting technique is superb, breaking technique is excellent, your knee down is good on curb. Where is this in the southern state pkway in Long Island? This is the only place you can go that fast without any interruption. I used to live in brooklyn and ride in from cross bay blvd. Guys be careful and check ur bikes on every run. @JohnFox1336 Ocean Parkway is the worst spot to fuck around on. No exits, no connecting road ways for evading the long arm of the Law. If the cops trap you off youre gonna have to work real hard to get away. And over the years the 2 lane section has gotten way to many dips, feels like youre on a roll coaster. Ill take the SS over it any time. Best places are every where but Ocean. 2 lane section of the Wantagh, Meadow Brook, Southern, and a few sections of the Northern State.

I know the BMW has the top end power and the CBR has a little more middle range power. Does the electronics on the BMW help more at those speeds? Mavus. Is riding like this really dissimilar to riding on a track? Here they're doing what most people could do with some practice - going fast and dodging cars. The 'skill' isn't very impressive. If you look at the video there are parts where you can see the CBR cornering, but not hard. They're coasting through, poor body position, changing lines mid corner and choppy in the throttle. @marco696975 No, no it isn't. I'll take a S1000RR or a GSXR1000 over it any day. weight, brakes and power. Both have the advantage...not fond of the handling of it either but that's just a subjective preference. But there is one motorcycle better than all three...EX250, because on the roads I ride. Those others wont keep up, too twisty for the bloated pigs.

@1badhonda510 Well its crushing super stock races. and if you talk about modding the bike...the HONDA has had YEARS to work on their engine. and people have had years to make parts for the same engine. not so with the BMW. whats sad is this is their first liter bike and its spanking the japs...which is why I bought one and spank the japs as well.
