  • the so called "new dry-fit adhesive sucks when you apply it on the screen, which is the most IMPORTANT part, because it always leaves bubbles that don't EVER go away. So Far i had 4 "replacement" that cost money?? and all left air bubbles. From my experience i would perfer the other competition. Oh i also forgot to say that most of the time you would get a defective screen protector and when you try to tell customer service they just don't give a s**t and make u pay for another one

  • I see comments about the cracked camera and pulling parts off... Keep in mind ..They drug the thing behind a car at 30+ MPH for almost 40-50 seconds..... WHO WOULD NORMALLY DO THAT??? The most any of us would do is drop it from 5-6 ft.. If the camera is cracked.. that's not bad for what they did to it...

  • Why would you wrap your entire phone in plastic?

  • After already seeing the crack on the camera at the back.. at 3:02 he attempts to cover up the camera lens at the back to hide it :| tut tut... FAIL!

  • @ 2:46 - 2:47 you can see the plastic has a hole and the phone got scratched. Fail lol

  • lol the camera was cracked and the film doesnt crack, taking a photo would result in ever photo looking like lary king

  • ok, but late.. did that phone worked ?

  • i bet you that phone won't even turn on

  • This Product is the best I had both Wrapsol and Zagg but the i preferred wrapsol better because it doesn't give that weird texture like the Invisible shield does and it is also so easy to apply and never peels or lifts like Zagg

  • I like how you brag about your packing materials being recyclable then you just litter the paper backing of the skin lol. You really do care about the environment lol.

  • does the wrapsol ultra come out for the ipod nano 5th gen?

  • camera was cracked. and you tried to cover it.

    pssshhhhh.

    invisibleshield ftw!

  • @dxsmth will invisible shield be able t o prevent that if it was dragged like that ?

  • 2:41 Seems battery is about to fall if the guy did not push back cover. However, this may be to prove it ability to prevent scratch-type damage. I guess.

  • Hi i bought from you a motorola droid film, and, it seems pretty tricky, get it done right, do you have a video of how to aply the kit in the motorola droid. BTW, i did put the screen protector, and its AWESOME, far better than the Skinomi (that it was awesome) , so only i need its to apply the rest of the kit.

    Bye

  • I like that fact that wrapsol has a smooth feeling to the screen protectors but without the solution, which i didn't know i could get , it is really hard to apply it to the device (nokia n97 mini) just on the first attempt i had all micro fibers on my front screen protector and i just peeled it out it really messed up the look of the phone. It's not like the ZAGG invisible shield where it doesn't come dirty and is so easy to apply.

  • can you do a wet application with the ultra, even though its a dry app?and is it the same cut as the normal wrapsol? thankssss

  • @rickyracer12 yes, you can use an application solution if you wanted to. but you don't have to. our new technology allows the film to be repositionable without any liquid.

  • @wrapsol yeah but wet is easier and plus the dry gwts dust under it like any other dry film

  • Nice, real real nice.

  • 2:46 you can see that the camera is broken.

  • Is this new shock proof film supposed to rip your phone apart when you take it off?

  • @InternetMarketinGuru that was just the battery cover being ripped off so its no big deal

  • 3:01

it is not the reflection, it does have a crack!

  • 3:01

    camera is broken

  • it's just the reflection dude.

  • this test doesnt prove anything

when you use the protective sheets you woudnt wrap a phone like that unless youre just retarded

  • interesting , but i have one issue ! with covers like this made for touchscreen phones will there be an issue with fingerprints ! I took off my last iphone protecter because of smudges !

and im glad to see you use a landrover discovery3 as a "test car" ;)

  • When you fold the film around the device and seal it with the extra film sticking out it is NOT the same as their pre cut kit. Their kit doesn't cover the device as well as ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD.

  • @ireliv the new ultra covers all the corners. using our new dry-fit adhesive technology, we are able to cover more of the device without any drawbacks such as the film peeling/lifting.

  • Looks as if the camera lens had cracked. And the fact that you tried to hide it with your thumb gave it away too.

  • POINTLESS!

  • O KURWA :D

  • Pause at 3:01 the camera has a crack. Total fail.

  • how come NOBODY seems to have noticed that he ripped the SCREEN off the phone at 2:40 ?

  • @GodsRUs its the battery cover that lifts up on the vidoe. not the screen. it goes right back into place. no issues.

  • i did but it wasn't the screen , it was the back cover

  • @GodsRUs That wasnt the screen, that was the battery cover.

  • good use of your time :)

  • For a proof demonstration, the phone is outside the camera frame for very long periods of time.

also, guess this wrapsol is supposed to protect the screen and plastic, it's not a shock absorber. so the question "does the phone still works?" is not the point here.

  • When the camera zooms in at about 1:55, there's clearly a hole in the lower left corner and the Wrapsol looks a bit beat up -- but still impressive. I agree with ViolentCop that when the camera pans away after the car stops, there is plenty of time to substitute a different phone, so I'm a bit skeptical. I'd like to see: before and after shots; no possibility of cheating; a side-by-side comparison with a protective case; phone operating after the demo.

  • Very impressive but it would have had much more impact if you showed the unit turning on and working after the demo ... who actually knows if it was "good to go". Great idea for a protection test though ... kudos.

  • @eatapc we will have more tests coming in the next couple of weeks and we will be sure to incorporate all these suggestions. thank you!

  • Its nice that it's not scrached, but i dont think it would work anymore :D

  • First rule of demoing a product's protective performance: NEVER cut away from the object its protecting while filming - especially if you plan on posting the video on the internet where everything is either fake or conspiracy.

Good demo none the less, can't say I didn't cringe though!

  • wrapsol, at 3:01 you can see a nick on the top right of the phone. Is that from the drag or something else?

Should have shown before and after pictures.

  • @lokiracer the nick was already there.

we will shoot additional videos and will include before and after pictures. thx for the idea!

  • There's no need for it to be that thick. Zagg is better.

  • Its only 12 thousandths of an inch thick + the adhesive (probably only 2 or 3 mils) and if you get to thin heat can dissipate sometimes causing capacitive screens to become less responsive.

  • "if you get to thin heat can dissipate sometimes causing capacitive screens to become less responsive"

I have some ocean front property in Iowa for sale. Interested?

  • @roydog741 you are absolutely correct. this is why zagg and similar products feel rubbery on the screen after the device has been on for a while.

  • @israelandersonvideo the new wrapsol ultra applies 100% dry in about 2 minutes. so not only is it the strongest, it's also the easiest and fastest to apply, with no risk of any moisture damage!

  • @wrapsol The water application method of the Zagg skin is superior because it lets you reposition the case until it is perfect, and then you just let it dry. Yours is thick, so it doesn't stay on as well, and you'll never get it on straight first time, and you'll end up with ugly fingerprints under the skin. Zagg also has a lifetime replacement warrantee.

  • @israelandersonvideo wrapsol ultra is repositionable, but our new patent pending process accomplishes this without any moisture. the difference is thickness is measured in microns. it stays on as well as the original product. and yes, we also have a lifetime replacement warranty.

  • i found the zagg case terrible , i found the water application a bit fussy but i saw the idea behind it ! I also had an issue with the thickness of the zagg cover as a scratch got threw the cover !

  • @Rorycarguy A scratch got through the cover?:) I doubt that...

  • @israelandersonvideo actually did ! i had the thin Zagg case and i think a zip of one of my trousers scratched the cover , that in turn lightly scraped my i pod touch's screen! I was amazed it happened ! I would have opted to get it replaced but i disliked the application process , so i got a cheap one which is working a treat! ! im amazed it happened !

  • @Rorycarguy Wait... The Zagg cover scratched from a "zip". I think people need to watch the pen trying to pierce the Zagg material if anyone thinks this is speaking the truth. Secondly, scratching the iPod touch's glass is next to impossible as it's a crystal composite, and the reason Apple has now removed all screen protectors from their stores. They simply do not need scratch protection. Perhaps a metorite hit your ipod when you weren't looking *rolls eyes*

  • @israelandersonvideo I'm not going to get into a lenghty conversation , but i actually did scratch it . It was in the area around the home control button . It did scratch from the edge of the home button in about 2 milimeters . I know the have improved their covers and also i dont know if youved owned a 1st gen ipod touch , but its very easy to scratch an ipod touch screen ! I don't see why it must be so hard to believe , but its true , i just simply wanted to put it out there !

  • i am currently using a cheaper , more flexible yet stiff cover on my iphone , its very good and im much more pleased with it . I think this style of cover wont work well !

  • wow, thats verry strong

  • this is why i love wrapsol!!! :)
