Eh? No es cuestion de ser jibaros,es cosa de que #1 Se esta celebrando q llegamos otra vez a nuestro pedacito de tierra #2 Llegamos bien, no nos estrellamos en el camino y #3 por que somos alegres. Mi esposo es americano y le encanta que aplaudan al final del viaje,y cuando vamos y nadie aplaude lo primero q dice es"this bunch of gringos! They have to be so damn quiet" y el comienza aplaudir a ver si emociona a alguien mas!

which btw, i would not call that a good main reason. Because i don't think that crosswind landing are most often depends on airlines, it depends on the condition of the weather. Sometimes it is necessary to crosswind land in order to land safely. I'm pretty sure that almost all airlines have well trained pilots.
