Thanks so much for uploading these gems. As a guy who once pondered a career in radio, I think Casey Kasem is one of the kings. He seemed to have a lot of fun doing this, which must be why he did it for so very long. I miss hearing him every week, but we have these memories.
Oh I'm back again just to say that from my childhood there is another voice that is great for me.It was the voice of Ernie Anderson the voice of ABC. I loved the way how he was saying "The looove boat"! ( speaking of jingles the one for ABC's movie sunday night in the 82-83 was amazing)!): That's all folks
Hello, I'm french and I was 13 years old when I spent on year in Boston in 1983-1984. Thank you so so much! Please continue the great job! Greatings from Paris.
Thank you from the bottom of my 43 yo heart! I NEVER missed a CK top 40 growing up in the 70s and 80s. Even if it's a snippet it takes me back to the best years of my life!!!
@latinguy67 -- I'm just a year older than you and I know exactly how you feel. I grew up listening to Casey every Sunday morning/afternoon, never missing a countdown. Those were the days! Casey's a national treasure.
