Lawsuit against Ron Paul Supporters - Meeting Protest - Part 1

After the Court Order denying the Election Contest of former do-nothing-but-file-lawsuits Chairman Paul Cummings was issued, Cummings decided to file an appeal of the Court's ruling. The Alameda County Republican Central Committee has passed a resolution in opposition to the counter-productive appeal calling for the appeal to be withdrawn without delay. Cummings has failed to comply.

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Frank Roesch rejected a lawsuit by committee Chairman Paul Cummings seeking to overturn the election to the committee of a group of Ron Paul supporters and Minutemen. Cummings said Wednesday that the judge "GOT THE LAW WRONG" and that Judge Roesch's "bizarre interpretation of what an election is certainly surprised me and HAS OUR COUNSEL DUMBFOUNDED."

The Court concludes that it lacks jurisdiction to entertain the Election Contest because the Chairman's Statement was untimely filed. It was not filed within the time limitations set forth in California Election Code section 16421; those time limitations are applicable to Contests of PRIMARY Elections such as the election on June 3, 2008. As this Contest concerns a PRIMARY Election, and because it was filed more than 5-days after the certification of the official canvass, IT IS UNTIMELY.

The Alameda County GOP failed to pass a resolution against the Governor's plan to increase our taxes. The California Republican Party Board of Directors Passed a Resolution 14-2 Demanding Governor Retract His Call for Increased Taxes. We would like to see the Alameda County GOP do the same!

Cudos to the supporters of liberty!! This is an excellent example of how to publicly expose corruption and fraud within your local party. Record every meeting by audio and video, and publish it on the internet. If you do a little research on GOP Chairman Paul Cummings, you'll find-out that he's the Executive Director of the Affordable Management Association of Northern CA, Nevada and Hawaii.
