When I understand that the God of Abraham and Jacob Is true and real. But I can't fit the mold. I can't let go of my sins. I ask God to free me from them,but I always fail. I can quote scripture and confuse the teachers in Christ,Just trying to learn. But I can't be the Man God wants me to be. Any Ideas?

you see we are all human beings from God, but some of us perhaps i dont know is it outright evil??? or just arrogance and pride makes us think we can go our own way without God, but Christians realize our weakness as humans and our potential to be so evil that we and cry out to Christ everyday and confess our weakness to him we humble ourselves knowing he is the creator and our salvation to be perfect, so the question is it arrogance and pride in nonbelievers that makes them deny god hmmm hmmm
Of course atheists and non believers aren't lost innocent little lambs, there is so much truth and evidence of God and as you said if you start quoting some beautiful parables and truths from the bible or start discussing it, they get very hostile and mostly end up mocking you and laughing at you, Why? because they know deep down god exists but to live a life according to Gods ways doesn't suit them,so they dismiss him to live whatever kind of lives that pleases them

Put your vaunted doubt to the ultimate test. But you won't, will you? And the reason is that you DON'T have any REAL confidence in your intellectual position.
