FYI Folks- Louboutins' red bottoms scuff and come off with enough walking too! I love this because while I'm hesitant to do the red bottom because I wouldn't want to explain that I'm not trying to be a copy-cat, it would make the shoes really pop from the back and I would do other colors! It's great and I'd do this!

Heres the thing though. People are going to be like OMG i love your shoes and want a closer look. Then they see its duct tape and you look like an idiot. Or, because i can tell, people will know whether or not its an actual Louboutin design beca its an obvious Jessica Simpson shoe that you used. And it is considered copy right infringement.. WOW!!!!!! This is one of the tackiest things that I have seen. I'm glad it's on the bottom of the shoe so no one can really see the ridges that i see in this video. I wanna see what happens when one of those small strips comes off and you are walking around looking "cute" but don't know your creation is falling apart. I think this is pretty cool. Even for those who don't want to fake the Louboutin look, then they can use other colors for fun. You never said *we* had to choose red lol. I love all your tips and ideas! Thanks for sharing & your so right not all of us can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a single pair of shoes. It's not like you were taking orders to sell and make a profit off of some knock off shoe. Anyway I thought a helpful tip for you might be to try an exacto knife instead of scissors. You will be able to get a much cleaner cut and if it is a small piece of tape you can always hold it with tweezers instead of your fingers! :) Keep posting!!

i did the red one with nail polish. you tape around the whole shoe and you gob the polish on the bottom and spread it out, gravity actually evens it out as it dries and it's a mirror-smooth finish. i put clear on top of it after it dried to protect it more. very classy and flawless- no duct tape lines. looks professional.
