I'm pretty sure our founding fathers were christians and wrote the constitution based on their christian principals. Our government both left and right arent following these laws/process and look what direction they are taking us. The future of the U.S is headed for some tough times ahead.
@futurerapture i'm pretty sure our founding fathers were NOT Christians - they were Deists. Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Paine, Madison & Washington all believed that while the universe had a creator, that creator is not concerned with daily lives of humans, and does not directly communicate with humans, either by revelation or by sacred books. The founding fathers thought humans should use reason to think for themselves. And they believed in separation of church & state - democracy.
Another video of one man's views and lies. Did you see the interview where Sarah Palin Explained the lie about banning books? Another parent wanted to ban books and Sarah was trying to handle the situation. No Harry Potter books were published yet. No...just blindly follow the lies of the liberal media and idiot Obama worshippers online who mostly aren't even old enough to vote. So you hate all religions...Everyone worships something. Yeah, since "Do not kill" has nothing to do with Christianity. Blowing the world up will be much more important then the fact that in doing so they would commit in fact a sin. Not to mention, that it is quite funny how for hatemongers like you someone who beliefs in god has to have no sense of reason. I don't believe in creationism, but why should someone, who does, not moral? It's like saying that Obama is not fit for president, because he is black. Makes me sick.

"Blowing the world up will be much more important then the fact that in doing so they would commit in fact a sin."
Sure, but the problem with religious people is that God overrules everything, so when some nut gets it into his head that God wants him to kill people, he does. It's not just Christianity, obviously, but it's a common pattern for religion in general.
"It's like saying that Obama is not fit for president, because he is black."

You're a fool. Learn to argue the moot. This idiot is saying that Christians should not have their vote recognised. Even though the Christian population outweighs the other religions. It's like saying that Chinese people shouldn't be able to vote in China.

I believe that Jesus will return when everything goes "dogity-dogity", as you humorously put it. But i don't believe in war. I do believe israel did 9/11 and is behind all the current wars. It is said that Judas betrayed Jesus because Judas believed that he could force Jesus to fight against the Roman occupiers of israel. If modern day zionist Christians think they are going to bring about Jesus' return by causing WW III, then they are in bad company.
We don't mind choosing the lesser of two evils, just as long as we get to choose evil. It my not be the best system but it's ours and we love it. On Nov. 4, the McCaininites will be cast out.
Davis Fleetwood, your videos are a direct pipeline (for me) to the american mindset. So please keep up the (extremely f*cking) good work! My opinions sometimes differ from yours but if you ever come to ou part of the universe, you have a friend here and "mi casa es su casa".
I really hope you americans realize how important your vote is. USA's influence is so huge that one american vote decides more than a single vote of a Finnish vote. Please think this thing thru and vote wisely. The two candidates you have to choose now are NOT the best the wrld needs but... 'the lesser of two evils'.
As an outsider I want to ask a question that I can avoide myself. If Obama turns out to be SSDF (Same Sh*t, Different Face) than every other politcian that has been running your country down the tubes the past last 20 years, who are you (Obama-supporters) going to blame for the sh*t he drags you into (remember the first word 'IF')?
i shall personally blame you, and other cynical hardasses with nothing to offer beyond criticism. obama looks now like a sellout to dupont and whatever other corporate lobbyists and advisors are driving the tone and tenor of his campaign. he's obliged to keep his own true cards close to the chest in order to have a chance in hell of winning this election. cynical, yes.but if he gets in, his agenda will be far less destructive than the mccain palin agenda. sadly for now we have no better option.
we have a responsibility to stay in close and concerted communication with our representatives, or they will only represent the interests of those lobbyists who court them daily . no matter who is in office that person needs to hear from us, two or three times a day if necessary, if the policies in question, say, are a matter of life or death for our planet... it's up to us to take our country back from the corporate shills who keep buying out our leaders
We will blame him. We don't support him because he's good looking, we support him because he represents our values. And as I have said time and time before, I support Obama because of his opposition to the war in Iraq. The second he flips on that issue, he will lose my support, and likely lose the election. But I trust he will be consistent. I am a slave to no candidate or party, only to the issues I believe in. Obama is but merely a vessel through which to achieve success on those issues.
Only two candidates from the Democratic party supported an immediate withdraw from Iraq; Mike Gravel, and Dennis Kucinich. In case you haven't noticed, neither of them are candidates anymore. I've lost faith in the Democratic party, but I don't feel I've lost anything I'm going to regret losing. Nancy Pelosi has been speaker of the house for almost two years now, and guess what? We're still in Iraq. I want a candidate with a better campaign slogan than "I'm not republican".
I'm also a pragmatist, and although I have an ideal outcome for the war in my mind, that being immediate withdrawal, I know that it just won't be that simple. All politicians get to office thinking that implementing their agenda will be just a matter of will power. That certainly has alot to do with it, but ideology alone cannot account for the consequences of a decision made on pure emotion.
Its that exact line of thinking that got us into this war in the 1st place. So more than anything, I want a president who thinks before they invade a country, or make any weighty decisions for that matter. Kucinich and Gravel, judging by their poor performances as elected officials tell me that they were more concerned with staking out a position for sole ideological purity than to actually do their jobs and get things done. McCain and Palin are the same way.
It makes sense to me that the self serving, closeted, passionately vocal believe not only that Jesus has specifically chosen to save them - but also that their vote is the only one that counts.
Whereas the sort who do have the ability to make a calculated decision, focus far too long calculating it, and justify their "oh, I didn't vote" with the paradoxical "my vote won't make a difference".
Course, I'm not American. But her foreign interventions paint a bullseye on everyone.
Anyway most anthropologists are not familiar with the ancient or modern world A few are, but they tend to do vry psecialized studies applying modern anthropological ideas to ancient evidence.
Almost know of them have the languages or training to research the ancient evidence.
Earlier some of them did, when Greek and Latin were standard.
Two things early helped bring the modern idea of race into existence--the discovery of China and the discoery of the new world. Black Africans, Ehtiopians, were known by Homer and considered ancient and blessed and black but just another tribe.
There was no black race, yellow race, white race, red race, etc. Australian aborigines weren't even known.
One of the most endearing things about the human races, LethalKillingMachine, no matter what various "Racial Purists" say (usually they are mixed themselves secretly) they all fuck one another whenever they have half a chance.
Some Injuns got blak and some blacks got Injun too, including out West (Buffalo Soldier Rednecks), Seminoles, etc. Then of course all the best families of REdnecks in Texas gotta lotta Spic from the original Redneck Texans who took Mexican wives and converted to Catholicism.
Touching sentiment, Mr. Fleetwood. But this won't be the year that I vote for an Independent. It's simply a matter of practicality trumping "doing what's right". I have to take the best strategy for NOT allowing McCain into office.
I knew you didn't have the balls to call Obama a "nigger" in this video as you called a white politician a "cracker" in your previous video.
While I agree with the main thrust of your point in this video, it's still an example of Leftist hypocrisy and dishonest Political Correctness (is there any other kind?) in action.
Anyway "nigger" is just Southern English pronunciation of the Spanish "negro", itself from the Latin "niger"--"black". The Italian is "nero", the French "noire". In Haiti whites and blacks a few years ago still used to address one another as Monsieur Blanc and Monsieur Noir.
Yes, I know. It's just truly disgusting to see Leftist hypocrisy and liberal blowhardism in all its ugliness. I thought I made that clear. That's all.
Got some others for you, LethalKillingMachine, though ethnic, not racial.
Polack? Among other things the Italian for Pole, Nip and JAp are just abbreviations, and Dago is originally Diego, a name.
Greaser--from a Mexican who greased wagon axles at Raton pass probably. Oh, and Kike--that was the German Jewish word for Eastern European Jews because common surname endings.
Here's the interesting thing, LethalKillingMachine, dumbass rednecks like hyou are not even "Racists". You are "Colorists" and color is one of the least important signs of race.
But in Louisiana thye be calling Billy Joe Hindoo, the new guvner, the first "non-white guvner".
But he's more Caucasian than most Southern Rednecks.
No, I simply reserve the right to view the world as the average black man on the street does. I have studied black literature and they call this normal state being "racially aware" or simply being conscious of one's own race, which has been the natural state in man for thousands and thousands of years and still is in most of the world.
I am now seeing in you an ugly from of both denial and Political Correctness, which is dangerously close to being liberal blowhardism itself.
Here's a good, specific example. Aurelius Augustinus, whom you probably know as SAint Augustine, was called "niger", but no one is sure whether that meant a dark Caucasian or black African because they did not distinguish.
So was he Berber (Circumcellion) or African?
No one is sure.
He was from Hippo in Africa and probably Carthaginian, who were mixed Phoenicians and locals.
Yes, I couldn't even finish reading that because I don't want a lesson is trivia and I know all about the Niger River, too. Now, please cite this evidence that race wasn't "invented" until modern times.
Stop trying to impress me and answer the very specific question with a specific answer.
Er, LethalKillingMachine, I don't want to seem arrogant and you don't have to believe it, but I know more about this than most antghropologists.
I'll give you an example.
Look up Firmicus Maternus in Wikipedia or soewhere and then get back tome. And I'll tell you something about his work no anthropologist knows. And which is pertinent.
The Hopis consider their tribe the origin of all the other Indian tribes, and based on soe lingusitic evidence, they may even have a claim, in the sense of being descendants of the group that corssed the Bering Strait and preserves tradtions about it.
But other tribes have their own traditions.
Also there may be other later elements miColumbusthe Europeans, Polynesian and even Phoenician, Irish and Norse, perhaps even African or Egyptian.
Her's another one, LethalKillingMachine--the American Indians were invented by the Europeans.
Before the arrival of the Europeans, there was no such thing as "an American Indian". There were just different tribes. Some of them considered themselves of the same genetgic ancestry, and some did not.
Indentured servants were "slaves for a term" by contract (Some Roman gladiators were slaves for a term too). But the indentured servants, who were European, were treated worse than Southern slaves and had a lower survival rate. Why?
Because when the term ended the master had no reason to keep them alive so if they were sick or injured he just let them die. And he worked them to death and starved them in the last years of their term.
In fact, Fleetwood, consider this--McCain will be trying to look more and more like Ron Paul, while Paul stands around with his surgically gloved fingers up his ass.
There is only one way to beat this, Fleetwood, and that's to destroy the Republican Party.
what are you talking about? it's two parties in name only. in reality, they are the republicrats. i hate them both. obama is just as scary as mccain. i agree with most of your posts though.
The two parties in my book are Theocrats and Neocrats respectively.
My point is that you are missing my point.
And you are are missing Paul Craig Robert's point, as well as Kucinich's.
If it is true that the two "parties" cannot survive save as a duopoly subtracting one does not yield a monopoly but three: the party in "power", the remnants of the last party in "power", and one or more new parties.
I thought those were democratic states? Very witty remember Davis' comment "a knuckle dragging freak show"? Some people really have carpal tunnel vision syndrome! You can expect that one on the next Wheel of the Unfortunate!
as frightening as the prospect of a book-burning christian fundamentalist becoming vice president is, I can't reconcile to obama's centrist appeals and foreign policy. as you say, it's time to support what's right instead of what is least wrong. great video, again.
It feels like we're living in the Twilight Zone. And Sarah Palin is Mike Huckabee in a dress. It is the end of America as we know it if that wack job gets elected.
That Huckabee is real first class slime and snake oil--ain't seen such a smooth pile of shit in a coon's age. All the moves, missing only the common touch Clinton faked.
Wake up, Fleetwood, Kucinich and Paul Craig Roberts are on the same page, not only in relation to impeachment but in relation to destroying the Republican Party by voting for Obama:
What would Obama do? Absolutley nothing.

It is said that Judas betrayed Jesus because Judas believed that he could force Jesus to fight against the Roman occupiers of israel. If modern day zionist Christians think they are going to bring about Jesus' return by causing WW III, then they are in bad company.

Sikapossu75 3 years ago
i shall personally blame you, and other cynical hardasses with nothing to offer beyond criticism. obama looks now like a sellout to dupont and whatever other corporate lobbyists and advisors are driving the tone and tenor of his campaign. he's obliged to keep his own true cards close to the chest in order to have a chance in hell of winning this election. cynical, yes.but if he gets in, his agenda will be far less destructive than the mccain palin agenda. sadly for now we have no better option.
medicinesocks 3 years ago
we have a responsibility to stay in close and concerted communication with our representatives, or they will only represent the interests of those lobbyists who court them daily . no matter who is in office that person needs to hear from us, two or three times a day if necessary, if the policies in question, say, are a matter of life or death for our planet... it's up to us to take our country back from the corporate shills who keep buying out our leaders
medicinesocks 3 years ago
We will blame him. We don't support him because he's good looking, we support him because he represents our values. And as I have said time and time before, I support Obama because of his opposition to the war in Iraq. The second he flips on that issue, he will lose my support, and likely lose the election. But I trust he will be consistent. I am a slave to no candidate or party, only to the issues I believe in. Obama is but merely a vessel through which to achieve success on those issues.
Porsche51688 3 years ago
Only two candidates from the Democratic party supported an immediate withdraw from Iraq; Mike Gravel, and Dennis Kucinich. In case you haven't noticed, neither of them are candidates anymore. I've lost faith in the Democratic party, but I don't feel I've lost anything I'm going to regret losing. Nancy Pelosi has been speaker of the house for almost two years now, and guess what? We're still in Iraq. I want a candidate with a better campaign slogan than "I'm not republican".
vigilantesuperstar 3 years ago
I'm also a pragmatist, and although I have an ideal outcome for the war in my mind, that being immediate withdrawal, I know that it just won't be that simple. All politicians get to office thinking that implementing their agenda will be just a matter of will power. That certainly has alot to do with it, but ideology alone cannot account for the consequences of a decision made on pure emotion.
Porsche51688 3 years ago
Its that exact line of thinking that got us into this war in the 1st place. So more than anything, I want a president who thinks before they invade a country, or make any weighty decisions for that matter. Kucinich and Gravel, judging by their poor performances as elected officials tell me that they were more concerned with staking out a position for sole ideological purity than to actually do their jobs and get things done. McCain and Palin are the same way.
Porsche51688 3 years ago
...

But no more.
mopsius 3 years ago
Guess what: the different groups he describes are not classed by anything that is even remotely a modern definition of "race".
mopsius 3 years ago
He's a Fourth Century AD orator from Sicily.
He wrote a book on astrology (more advanced technically than most modern works).
In the introduction he takes up all the objections made to astrology, and one of them pertains to the differences in the tribes and "races" mankind.
Then he goes through the characteristics of all these different kinds of men (quite acutely actually).

Most American education sucks, even at the university level, and especially for undergraduates.

Franz Boaz--"father of modern anthropology".
mopsius 3 years ago
Two things early helped bring the modern idea of race into existence--the discovery of China and the discoery of the new world. Black Africans, Ehtiopians, were known by Homer and considered ancient and blessed and black but just another tribe.
There was no black race, yellow race, white race, red race, etc. Australian aborigines weren't even known.

One of the most endearing things about the human races, LethalKillingMachine, no matter what various "Racial Purists" say (usually they are mixed themselves secretly) they all fuck one another whenever they have half a chance.
mopsius 3 years ago
Every see pictures of the first Botha in S. Africa, LethalKillingMachine, he was pretty clearly half Zulu or something like that.
mopsius 3 years ago
So the Great White Race in the US is as much bullshit as the Great Black Race.
mopsius 3 years ago
Some Injuns got blak and some blacks got Injun too, including out West (Buffalo Soldier Rednecks), Seminoles, etc. Then of course all the best families of REdnecks in Texas gotta lotta Spic from the original Redneck Texans who took Mexican wives and converted to Catholicism.
mopsius 3 years ago
Here's another irony--most Southerners, black or white are mixed.
Most Southern blacks have some white blood, and most southern whites have either some black (coastal and plain) or some Americna Indian (hills).
So both the Racism and the Colorism is really dumb.
mopsius 3 years ago
Touching sentiment, Mr. Fleetwood. But this won't be the year that I vote for an Independent. It's simply a matter of practicality trumping "doing what's right". I have to take the best strategy for NOT allowing McCain into office.
Vinifera7 3 years ago
I knew you didn't have the balls to call Obama a "nigger" in this video as you called a white politician a "cracker" in your previous video.
While I agree with the main thrust of your point in this video, it's still an example of Leftist hypocrisy and dishonest Political Correctness (is there any other kind?) in action.
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
You are a redneck dumbass, LethalKillingMachine.
"Cracker" is not racial in denotation.
"Redneck" is.
mopsius 3 years ago
Anyway "nigger" is just Southern English pronunciation of the Spanish "negro", itself from the Latin "niger"--"black". The Italian is "nero", the French "noire". In Haiti whites and blacks a few years ago still used to address one another as Monsieur Blanc and Monsieur Noir.
mopsius 3 years ago
Yes, I know. It's just truly disgusting to see Leftist hypocrisy and liberal blowhardism in all its ugliness. I thought I made that clear. That's all.
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
Anywaym, LethalKillingMachine, I agree with you--but the hypocrisy is across left and right.
mopsius 3 years ago
Got some others for you, LethalKillingMachine, though ethnic, not racial.
Polack? Among other things the Italian for Pole, Nip and JAp are just abbreviations, and Dago is originally Diego, a name.
Greaser--from a Mexican who greased wagon axles at Raton pass probably. Oh, and Kike--that was the German Jewish word for Eastern European Jews because common surname endings.
mopsius 3 years ago
Here's the interesting thing, LethalKillingMachine, dumbass rednecks like hyou are not even "Racists". You are "Colorists" and color is one of the least important signs of race.
But in Louisiana thye be calling Billy Joe Hindoo, the new guvner, the first "non-white guvner".
But he's more Caucasian than most Southern Rednecks.
mopsius 3 years ago
No, I simply reserve the right to view the world as the average black man on the street does. I have studied black literature and they call this normal state being "racially aware" or simply being conscious of one's own race, which has been the natural state in man for thousands and thousands of years and still is in most of the world.
I am now seeing in you an ugly from of both denial and Political Correctness, which is dangerously close to being liberal blowhardism itself.
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
Nah, LetrhalKillingMachine, yall wrong, black and white. It's clannish and tribal, not racial.
Race as you and they use it wasn't even invented until modern times.
mopsius 3 years ago
Please cite this proof that race wasn't "invented" until modern times?
I swear to god, my anthropology professor would laugh his ass off silly over that one!
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
No, his anthropological definition of race is very modern.
Ancient word had no "race" int he modern sense.
Germans and Romans for example did not consider themselves the same "race". There was no white race or black race, etc.
mopsius 3 years ago
Evasions noted. Please cite this proof that race wasn't invented until modern times.
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
That is a proof--every anthropologist knows his definition of race is recent--as recent as anthropology actually.
The Southern definition is a little older.
The earlier words are all Latin, and used differently.
You can do your own research.
mopsius 3 years ago
Why are "blacks" int he South considered a race at all?
Because as slaves they were detribalized and consider all one "race", which they were not.
In colonial Masschusetts there were "white" (European) slaves in addition to indentured servants.
mopsius 3 years ago
Go look at my recent video about someone wanting "Ludacris" as the Secretary of Defense and tell me what you think is really on his mind?
Would you do that for me?
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
Here's a good, specific example. Aurelius Augustinus, whom you probably know as SAint Augustine, was called "niger", but no one is sure whether that meant a dark Caucasian or black African because they did not distinguish.
So was he Berber (Circumcellion) or African?
No one is sure.
He was from Hippo in Africa and probably Carthaginian, who were mixed Phoenicians and locals.
mopsius 3 years ago
Yes, I couldn't even finish reading that because I don't want a lesson is trivia and I know all about the Niger River, too. Now, please cite this evidence that race wasn't "invented" until modern times.
Stop trying to impress me and answer the very specific question with a specific answer.
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
You want to read an article of mine on the Fourth Centry AD? How's your Latin and Greek?
mopsius 3 years ago
Do be difficult, LethalKillingMachine--you might learn something.
Anyway, you must cite evidence that the modern definition of race existed before, say, 1400 AD.
mopsius 3 years ago
There is none.
Who is the first anthropologist?
mopsius 3 years ago
Yes, I will be "difficult" in that I ask you to actually back up your claim, which is something you have yet to do.
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago
That;s just being dumb. You find the first definition of "race" in modern times. Actually Boaz' is one of them.
mopsius 3 years ago
Er, LethalKillingMachine, I don't want to seem arrogant and you don't have to believe it, but I know more about this than most antghropologists.
I'll give you an example.
Look up Firmicus Maternus in Wikipedia or soewhere and then get back tome. And I'll tell you something about his work no anthropologist knows. And which is pertinent.
I wnet and watched your fucking video.
mopsius 3 years ago
Translation: "please stop asking me to back up my wild and crazy claims because I cannot do it."
LethalKillingMachine 3 years ago

The Hopis consider their tribe the origin of all the other Indian tribes, and based on soe lingusitic evidence, they may even have a claim, in the sense of being descendants of the group that corssed the Bering Strait and preserves tradtions about it.
But other tribes have their own traditions.
Also there may be other later elements miColumbusthe Europeans, Polynesian and even Phoenician, Irish and Norse, perhaps even African or Egyptian.
mopsius 3 years ago
Her's another one, LethalKillingMachine--the American Indians were invented by the Europeans.
Before the arrival of the Europeans, there was no such thing as "an American Indian". There were just different tribes. Some of them considered themselves of the same genetgic ancestry, and some did not.

mopsius 3 years ago
Indentured servants were "slaves for a term" by contract (Some Roman gladiators were slaves for a term too). But the indentured servants, who were European, were treated worse than Southern slaves and had a lower survival rate. Why?
Because when the term ended the master had no reason to keep them alive so if they were sick or injured he just let them die. And he worked them to death and starved them in the last years of their term.
mopsius 3 years ago
That is hardly proof. Not even a good try.

In fact, Fleetwood, consider this--McCain will be trying to look more and more like Ron Paul, while Paul stands around with his surgically gloved fingers up his ass.

That is beside the point, hombre.
The point is that the only vote you have is negtive--to vote against.
And without impeachment the only accountability for the Republican OParty is for it to be destoryed.
Dsestroyed.
And that means voting Obama.
