  • This was a good idea - reworking such a complex and open track! Unfortunately it does little new to the song. There IS room for a new retro-loving theatre-song diva a la early Bette Midler, reworking the 20th century pantheon, and Miss Paloma could do it. But when you rework a classic , REWORK IT ENTIRELY! e.g. Grace Jones spin on Iggy pop's 'Nightclubbing'.
