Gotta love good ol' German engineering (total assumtion, sorry if I'm wrong). Great job! Not exactly how I'm setting mine up, but if it works for you that's all that matters.
I had a problem with animal fat clogging up my sock filter. I have to heat my veggie oil-animal fat before pouring it through the filter. I need a better source of oil but a barbeque restraunt is all I can find. I run on probably 25-30 percent fat and 70-75 percent veggie oil.
What a great set up! I run veggie in a 1982 300D mercedes. I am looking for a bus for the exact reasons you have designed this. What type of bus and diesel engine is it? Why did you choose this combination?
This is a Gillig Phantom bus, with a Detroit Diesel 6V92. Old 2 stroke Diesel. It runs very nicely on veggie, but I do not recomend it because it can build up carbon deposits on the intake ports.
I would recomend a 4 stroke engine with at least 1 to 20 compression ratio.
The higher the compression the cleaner the burn of the veggie and less is the smoke and the carbon deposit.
Alot of vinyl tubing, watch out! Veggie Oil disolves vinyl. You would have been better off using standard fuel lines with the added bonus of being more heat resistant as well.

Did it pass emissions test?

@Charles2337
No emission test is required for these old engines.
But I am 100% sure it runs much cleaner on veggie than Diesel.
It smokes about 50% less on full power. (IE. black smoke.)

Ever thought of adding foam pipe insulation?

What about when you switch off for a long time you will have cold oil in your injectors and injector pump witch could cause damage

The cold oil in the injectors does not cause any demage.
I have put over 2oooo on this bus starting and running on 100% veggie.
The injectors get warm after a few seconds the engine has started.
