It's not in the United States. That's why people go all the way to Panama to get it done. Supposedly the lenses are FDA approved because it's the same things they use on patients with cataracts, except these are colored. But I don't even think that's true.
@sunade143 they should find a safe way of doing this and legalize that. But i wouldn't get this since it's only legal in Panama. If it's not legal in any other country then it's probably not a good idea.

For an asian woman to want blue eyes she/he has to have zero sense of what beauty really is. An asian woman with her features and blue eyes would look HORRIFIC. If she said light brown then fine...but blue?? Why is it always blacks, and asians that want that color. It looks horrible on them. Hispanics & whites are generally the ones that look any good in them.

I think it's ok for the eye to deteriorate like that. the implanted lens covers it up and it looks like the eye is naturally blue and healthy.

What kind of color she wanted to have, white? That's really mistup and damage her pupil. It's all for the vanity of looks of beauty, she was full of money for sure! Her eyes are pretty sandy brown, look like the desert sand and stupid for ruined it! Now she looks like a freaky creepy bubble eye fish from the deep.

@MyMusicTwo No. it damaged her iris. the iris is the colored part and its all muscle. the pupil is black because thats basically looking into your eyes. tahst why if you flash a light on it, youll see inside it. but the colored part is whats damaged. that is the muscle that gets stretched wrong with this surgery because it cant open up and close to let light in or out.

@Oceanshearts I have hazel eyes and wish they were green! .. I would never have this procedure done though, I'd just go out and buy coloured contacts that sit outside the eyeball and can be removed and disposed of! Feel so scared for this poor woman..

It's not in the United States. That's why people go all the way to Panama to get it done. Supposedly the lenses are FDA approved because it's the same things they use on patients with cataracts, except these are colored. But I don't even think that's true.

@sunade143 they should find a safe way of doing this and legalize that. But i wouldn't get this since it's only legal in Panama. If it's not legal in any other country then it's probably not a good idea.
