@disc0papa well technically that song is a "Late!" song that he wrote when he first joined nirvana and was living with kurt. and he said during their Acoustic theater concert that the song WAS indeed about krist and kurt and the reason he decided to re-record it with FF was because if he had never written those first few acoustic songs they (foo fighters) wouldve never did the acoustic tour with all the new acoustic material he had done which led to "in your honor" etc.

Foo Fighters is his butterfly. And I respect both stages of his evolution, which most definitely does include kurt as well.
