  • For a moment, I thought he was introducing Neil MALARKEY. Of course, life isn't always totally made up of awesome coincidences...

  • DICK WINTERS IS HILARIOUS

  • Paul and Neil are awesome together ;]

And Damien O_o I wanna Hug him

  • You can't spell Damien Lewis without "Damn". As in, damn, he's hot.

  • Omg its Winters

  • "Hit by a bus" XD

  • surely you cant buy a rent boy... the name implies. man that paul merton is always so quick and witty

  • ahhh. ginger and gorgeous!

  • Sigh. Damian ... XD *melts*

So talented. So hot. So ginger ...

  • "Nancy Pelosi!"

    "....Are you flirting with me?"

Love this exchange, for some reason. I just keep replaying it XD

And I demand more Damien Lewis on this show! Damn, that man is simply delish!!

  • @EnigmaDrath Same! I thought I was weird! >.< I laughed so hard at that part and the gibberish part lol

  • Damien Lewis is sooo sexy. His voice makes me melt lol

  • OH WOW!!

That's the man who played Winters in Band of Brothers!

That's brilliant, I thought he was an American actor. Him and Hugh Laurie are at their own level of awesome! :D

  • "Are you still here?" fuh nee.

  • I remember watching this on TV,

it was when I first fell in love with Damian Lewis

been mildly obsessed with him ever since

  • I can't begin to count the number of times I have watched this episode just for the Nancy Pelosi exchange.

  • Same. I love Paul and Neil - they are so funny together!

  • @nonameallthesame

Paul and Neil are in an improv troupe sometimes called the Comedy Store Players (and sometimes Paul Merton's Impro-Chums) - I've seen them a couple of times and they have been top notch both times. Worth checking out.

  • Im loving all the bad hanging jokes

  • Damain Lewis reminds me a lot of Deayton when he does this.

  • damian lewis is so hot!!!

  • DAMIEN LEWIS? Delicious.

  • Yeah! I had no idea I fancied him... turns out I do. A-bloody-lot. Yum!

  • I love Paul and Neil's reaction to the penis enlargement joke at 6:17 xD

  • The way they bounce off each other in little ways, like that, is great. It made me laugh when Damien introduced Neil and Paul seems to say to him "did you really play Tony Blair?" to which Neil tuts as if Paul should've known that!

And when they are 'flirting' and saying "Nancy Pelosi" cracks me up!

  • Haha the fat fingers joke.

    Love it :D

  • i had no idea Damien Lewis does comedy

  • Neil Mullarkey was in Austin Powers wasn't he?

  • Yes he was, the doctor guy I believe in Goldmember I think.

  • Yep and in the first one he was the bloke who was giving Austin his Swedish penis enlarger back!

  • they were also a comedy duo back in the day.

  • Yeah, he and Mike Myers used to tour together, they are good friends.

  • Can always tell when someone's lying.

  • so thats what damien lewis sounds like...

  • I assume you've seen Band of Brothers? He's damn good in that, but sounds completely different in this.

  • Alexander Arrmstrong is the best of the guest presenters imao.

  • None of these guest hosts have anything on old angus. Well, maybe boris :D

  • I know - it's not the same as it was back in the day, but I guess if Angus hadn't have gone, we wouldn't get any more HIGNFY. And some is better than none. At least the guest presenters to do keep it fresh. I thought Damien Lewis did a pretty good job - I liked him more than I'd expected to. Boris is unbeatable, shame he's become Mayor - he'll be too busy for it now!!!

  • yes, but Brian Blessed was brilliant as well

  • as was Tom Baker :)

  • Tom Baker was hilarious! I thought that show was brilliant - I felt Chris Addison's pain when he cried "I always wanted to meet you and now look...!!"

  • ano. Bring bak borris

  • I guess 14-15 really, because some I haven't seen. There's only 16 missing episodes on my list out of the 299 regular series programmes so far. That's 140 hours of my life!

  • Don't put it like that - it's scary! Although, there are worse ways to spend 140 hours!

  • What do the red buttons they are all wearing represent?

  • They are poppies to commemorate the soldiers who fought in WW2. Britain always celebrates it on November 11th. :)

  • Thanks for the info (and the vids).

  • WW1

  • Stupid me! You're right! :)

  • No big deal .... it concerns me that I must have watched about 18 HIGNFY poppy episodes.

  • I noticed that too! I suppose since they always air in November, it's a large likelihood, but it still seems an unusually high number of episodes.

  • i remember crying with laughter when i saw dubya's "shows what i know" on channel 4.
