I dont know if this was worse than your problem. Just the first day I moved in a second floor old funeral home, I flushed the toilet and the water poured out from underneath the base of the bowl. So obviouslyi the seal was broken. Needless to say I am very assertive when it comes to these issues when I rented. First you withhold the rent until the problem is fixed to your satisfaction. Also there are other legal ways to deal with problems as these. So what was the outcome of the problem?
