Because the world is round, it turns me on. Because the world is round. Because the wind is high, it blows my mind. Because the wind is high. Love is old, love is new. Love is all, love is you. Because the sky is blue, it makes me cry. Because the sky is blue.
The Beatles themselves were like other men, but the music and lyrics channeled through them contained magic and hidden messages. To learn how to perceive these hidden meanings, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read through the section about The Beatles.
According to Lennon, "Because" was inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". "Yoko was playing Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata' on the piano ... I said, 'Can you play those chords backwards?', and wrote 'Because' around them. The lyrics speak for themselves ... No imagery, no obscure references."
te quedó super original el video...te felicito!..soy fanática de ésta canción que es una de mis fav. de Los Beatles..es tan melancólica!!..ahhhh..me encanta!!..es perfecta!! :)
@ManfredDeJesus just checked on wiki and your right it does start with an electric harpsichord with george over dubbing the moog later. the moog was an inspired addition to abbey road with it's greatest effect seen in the white noise at the end of "i want you" although it also adds some nice textures to "here comes the sun"

Good animation, yes, however you do not do this song any justice by focousing solely on the lyrics, and attempting to invoke false emotions from the audiance. In other words make a real bloody video!
Yeah, this video is terrible for this song... I just play the video to hear the wonderful song and scroll down so I can't see the video. haha. This song is too simple and perfect to even need a video. Nothing else is needed to go with this song. It's perfect and stands by itself.
great song. the cover by alice cooper and the beegees is actually very good aswell. i heard it first on an alice cooper box set so thought i'd check out the original version. in my opinion they are both pretty good
SOrry bud, but Lennon said it in an interview. Ono was playing sonata on he piano, and john asked he rto play it backwards. It's not exactly sonata backwards, but it laid the foundation. Jackass.
Why, the "Jackass" at the end of your response? It sounded like a prettty reasonable explanation.... and then "Jackass" for no reason. Haha. Seriously, youtube people always feel like they have to add something like that at the end of anything they write...... Douche bag.
Yeah I totally agree, everyone on youtube feels like any comment is a personal insult that requires one in return for some reason. Motherfuckin cocksucker
This is a great song, and an awesome video, but I think when you put pictures of a dude with pink hair, it kinda ruins the mood. Great animation though.
mhmm. what Lennon did was invert the chord progression of the Sonata, and then (adding some notes from the original) built his own song on top of that.
This is not Moonlight Sonata backwards, however, Yoko was in the studio with the Beatles and played Moonlight Sonata. John asked her to play it backwards, but it was only inspiration.
It IS still undetermined whether the Beatles actually took the Moonlight Sonata and just have Because the backwards version of it. Who cares if it is anyways? I still like this song.
wrong. this came out in 1969 on abbey road, john and yoko had been dating for at least a year. in fact the story goes that yoko was playing moonlight sonata and john told her to play the chords backwards, inspiring the song.
well if you have sound recorder on your computer like most computers do, you can record the song for this and listen to it in reverse.. it obv doesnt match but it does sound somewhat familiar. im pretty sure moonlight sonata inspired then to write this.. when yoko was playing it on the piano.
In this great John Lennon´s song the Beatles back to vocal harmony again, like in the early days...years later Queen and others trying to do the same..
I read Lennon's playboy interview and he said he got the idea from listening to Yoko play the moonlight sonata backwards and they (Beatles) kinda messed with it a bit
The animation is interesting. I dont understand its significance to the video, and it seems a bit random, but its interesting. I wouldnt mind an explanation from the artist that made it.
i read on interenet that this song is the beethoven`s sonata No. 14 (moonlight)the other way around. At first didnt believe it but then i analyzed it, and its true.
Ok Beatles fans. Part of this song was also used by an unsigned rap artist "NiQ" in the 50 Cent/YouTube On The Rise Rap contest. The track is called "Blow My Mind", something similar to this song is heard during the chorus.
