I just bought a full laptop, for 599$, the Lenovo Ideapad, 14 inch screen, 500 HDD, 4 gigs of DDR3 RAM, I5 Processor (2.67ghz), and with a DVD burner. So why would i waste nearly the same amount of money on something like this. No burner, crappy processor, windows XP, small hard drive etc. Just get a FULL NOTEBOOK. Don't mess with this things, the Lenovo is very business travel friendly and you have all the bell's and whistles to boot. Later.
Thanks a bunch Marcus! These two are my choices. If the Lenovo had a trackpoint i would buy it hands down, i can't stand touchpads. Do you know if Lenovo has any plans for a trackpoint nipple? God, if they did I would wait.
Which one is the best for your mobile computing needs? This is the question posted. After watching this, it is still the question. Thanks Marcus. Is anyone any wiser as to which laptop may be best? One has 2 buttons below the scroll pad..mmm is that good? bad? a design fault?, or is it just part of the commentary? hey there goes 2 birds flying past my window...informative aye. Is it better than one bird flying past..dont know, just thought I would mention it.

Good thing Marcus isn't trying to appeal to the edumacated laptop buyer, pretty lean commentary on specs and terrible backlighting to show the delicate differences in the netbooks.
Overall i think a 12 yr old geek could have furnished us with more useful info

Good head to head review.
I agreee with Pierce about ExpressCard, it should be mentioned.
A tripod would help a lot though.. :)

You forgot to mention the Lenovo has an express port, thats the reason for only 2 USB ports. Fair trade if youask me if you use mobile broadband.
