  • Hi albeybalgochian,

I cannot thank you enough for uploading your Jackson Pollock stuff! At first view, as you watch him paint, it seems not to make sense, then one realises the usually dark coloured lines and splashes are just a framework for him to 'read' the canvas and see what ingeniously clever and wondrous art he can make from it?

Thanks again, and please PM me anytime.

I have to say you play a pretty mean Chello BTW!

    Take care,

    mrbluenun

  • The musical equivalent of a Jackson Pollock painting is a smashed instrument. What is the use of a smashed instrument?

  • @macarthur19 To express someones feeelings in a way no other one is. have you ask your self way do people stand imfront of his paints for hours and hours and just dont let go?. Why there are so many people intrested in his art? Why his paintings have been able to trancends generations and inspire generations of artist? Its for the fact that he is expresing a real different, strange and powerfull type of art form, that reaches to the deepness of everyones heart...thats why.

  • POLLOCKS WORK IS ACTUALLY VERY COOL........ALSO TO LET YOU KNOW, JACKSON WAS VERY, VERY EDUCATED IN ART AND ART HISTORY.....HE BASICALLY WAS AN INTELLECTUAL BOOZER WHO CREATED SOMETHING UNIQUE...HIS EARLY WORK IS ALSO STRONG...........KNOWING HE CANT COMPETE TECHNICALLY WITH OTHER CONTEMPORARY MASTER ARTIST OF HIS TIME ...HE CHOSE TO MAKE HIS OWN LEFT TURN SO TO SPEAK AND ACTUALLY MADE A INTERESTING "CHESS BOARD" MOVE....FOR HIMSELF AND US......THANKS JACKSON..........

  • @drumcatf8

  • @PyroPortrayal ITS SO THAT DOUCHE BAGS CAN READ IT MORE MORE EASILY.LOL

  • @drumcatf8 The painting at 2:23 is just out of sight. this guy was a monster...he is still here with us.

  • Pollock's paintings are to art, what the backround track is to music.

  • I don't like this technique, I don't see any harmony or color combination on this paintings.

I think this pollock's technique is absurd and the paintings showed on the videos seem like webs weaved wrongly.

I preffer admire the master pieces of August renoir, claude Monet, vincent Van gogh, edouard Manet, Goya, Vasquez, Caravaggio, Da vinci, dali, Picasso, Camile Corot, Millet, Paul cezanne, Tintoretto, greco, Tiziano Vecellio.

    Pollock's paintings are garbage

  • Pollock's paintings are a whole different style of art, just saying

  • the fact is is that america didnt have an actual art such as cubism modernism surrealism we are still a young country growing in leaps and bounds in the 40s and 50s we were struggling to define something of our own in the art world and pollock defined his day and age in a way nobody had done before him.thats why hes special .nothing you see is random every color every line is placed where he wanted it stop trying to define it and just look

  • That is how my pallet would look if i don't clean it.

Anybody can make splatters of paint ramdomly.

how in the hell this guy become famous and recognized ( it bugles my mi mind)

  • its not random thats the point everything is exactly where he wanted it to be the fact you think its random shows that your not looking at the balance and the harmony of the painting. but i digress

  • you sir are a destructive ass :)

  • Pollock, the artist who refused to use a paintbrush... greatness :)

I love his painting that has white lines with the red background, I've yet to find a poster of it :(

  • being a musician not an artist, Pollocks shit looks cool but I didn't understand it... I think this bassist and the way I can understand the music has made sense as to what his art form was... Like I don't think this is nonsense music... Don't know how to explain when you've noticed something amazing...

  • oh ye gotta love them pollocks
