  • And people say there is no God. Lol.

  • AWWWWN BUNNIESSS!!

  • 0:53 Winter IS coming.

  • The whole search for certainty of the existence of God by measuring, quantifying, and theorizing nature is a futile (not that doing so is futile altogether, because it's not). Newton and the modern preoccupation with a Creator are wrong as Genesis was never meant to be taken so literally.

  • oh stop it, just because nature and life is fucked up (or whatever other natural or cosmological argument you want to use) doesn't disprove God, and just because nature and things like cells or neurons are complex (same as before) doesn't disprove God. I am of the belief that one can derive next to nothing about the Divine from the observation of nature and that doing so is dangerous as it sets limits upon the very nature of God and can lead to idolatry.

  • So efficient.

  • please tell me this is made to be shown to 5 year olds and not adults. If the latter then i have to say, Idiocracy is closer to being reality then we thought.

  • @newo82 the killer fungi is 140% true

    /watch?v=XuKjBIBBAL8

  • @williamthechang Never said it wasn't. It is the format of the presentation that i was referring to.

  • I feel itchy

  • but... i dont wanna be bunnysnack in 2012.... damn zombiapocalypse...

  • zombie don't exist lol

  • Welcome fellower 9gagger, nave a seat...

  • whoever said Nature is beautiful... can fuck off...

  • Thats some highly planned and well thought out evolution

  • WTF NATURE???

  • Lol at the tags of this video !! check it out!!

  • 0:20 KILL IT WITH FIRE!

  • And so... the adventure continues...

  • Evolution is amazing. I'm not sorry if I've offended anyone.

  • @ThePremize "Evolution" is simply the system of modification of creation. Just as your computer updates its software every time it needs too. Engineers write the code that it needs to make the update. Just as the one who first CREATED life forms on earth has updated their designs in accordance with their needs to survive any environmental changes.

  • @walidot That is completely bogus. And a very bad metaphor for creationist theory. Software is updated because there are external factors that act on a computer (hackers , new viruses, people wanting better features etc). If God needs to update his creation that means there's an outside force that God has no direct control over. Which means there's a second God out there, and out Creator God is not all powerful, and is fighting the other God.

  • @mrkiky I think you are confused. First you must understand that everything happens for a reason and runs on laws. Lets take the Ice age for example. If the ice age didn't happen we would still have dinosaurs roaming around the planet. Humans wouldn't fair so well with dinosaurs around. So in order to make the planet habitable for us the world is purged of them. The other animals were given the tools to survive this purge.

  • @walidot Your metaphor was still a bad one. Moving on, if God wanted us to be on the planet why did he create the dinosaurs just so he could kill them all? Second, how can you know the dinosaurs went extinct specially for us? Maybe we would've done ok with them around anyway. Dinosaurs or not, we're not naturally on top of the food chain, but we overcame that anyway.

  • @mrkiky We are on top of the food chain simply because we have the ability to create weapons like spears which wouldn't fair well against T-rex. When the earth was young it was not perfect for vulnerable beings as humans. It required millions of years for it to become ready for us. Dinosaurs were just part of that equation. The amount of vegetation in early earth was enormous it makes sense that the animals were bigger.

  • @walidot So you say that everything happened just so the world could get where it is now? And it was controlled in order to get to this specific state..... Seriously , you don't even take into consideration that stuff just happened and we got were we are now, and there's nothing special about it and that things could've simply just turned out differently and no one would've noticed?

  • @mrkiky Think about it for a second. Every cell in your body knows exactly what it needs to do. A single neuron in your brain has the ability to find the right neuron among billions to make a connections. a single cell in your body is a million times more complex then any machine ever made by man... I could go on and on.

  • still not as scary as the fungus version of this

  • @muslymier Ophiocordyceps unilateralis cannot affect mammals. whatever this is (no name given during this video) can grow into a liverfluke which feeds on our blood, this is worse from our perspective

  • Life is so fucking weird and scary... I wonder if they can study that on humans or other animals that have an apparent sentience...

  • I'm sure someone is trying to engineer this to work on humans.

  • LAST OF US

  • i heard this is how the communists created gays in the late 70s

  • It's not an animal it's a fungus ._.

    which makes it scarier

  • I hate when science documentaries think we're retards and tell us half truths or sensational lies. The FUNGUS does not become a worm!

  • @unassumption I know you are talking about the Ophiocordyceps unilaterali fungus, but the documentary doesn't say the ant is infected by a fungus. It is possible that a "worm" could do similar lethal symptoms too...

  • i love this show you learn so much, things you would never have though of WOW AMAZING

  • some of these episodes are just a bit much...

  • Can we see Number 5?

  • If you are confused by this just like I was, remember that the liverfluke will lay its eggs in the rabbit if eaten while inside the ant. Then this egg will be eaten by a snail, who will then produce snail snot, which gets eaten by an ant, who gets eaten by a rabbit. Then it starts all over again. Get the picture now?

  • if rabbits don't eat them, the parasite exits out of the ant's body and creates wierd appendages

  • @dchen038 really?

  • A ROWBUTT!

  • Las Plagas!

  • ok now thats a lot of work i live in baltimore and there is rabbits and ants and a farm but no snail too bad XD

  • mmmmm, snail snot

  • ZOMBIE ANTS!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is why I never eat vegetables. Yes, they're full of fiber and vitamins. Yes, they're bright and colorful and tasty. But one of them could have a zombie ant clinging to the stem, with a mind-controlling, bloodsucking liver fluke inside it. I'll stick to my steak and eggs, thank you.

  • @requiem4ameme

those fungi are healthy and nutritious to humans :)

    The poison doesn't infect mammals

  • @requiem4ameme which could have eaten an ant?....

  • @requiem4ameme

Then again, uncooked steaks let in unwanted guest inside your intestines and livers ;)

  • @requiem4ameme Each of these fungus can only take over 1 species each

  • @requiem4ameme steak can have parasites :D

  • @requiem4ameme you realise that cows are infected with the fluke by eating ants on grass............

  • why would you eat a cute fuzzy bunny

  • WOw, talk about Mexicans that live in a house for a day, and move over to the ghetto in just 4 hours.... LOL

  • who the fuck disliked this... seriously?

  • I hope people will stop eating chocolate covered ants? and bugs too! WTF?!!!

  • IM NEVER STOMPING ON AN ANT AGAIN! I DONT WANT A PARASITE ON MY SHOE! EEWWW

  • Great proof of Darvin's "evolution" theory... All steps of this process evolved by accidents, right? :)

  • @expertmax No this is a proof of existence of a loving and merciful creator called god, right?:)

  • @berrysliwa1 - Nobody mentioned God.

  • @berrysliwa1 Yep.

  • @berrysliwa1

it fits with YHWH though ;)

  • @berrysliwa1 its what god does with he has nothing better to do

  • @expertmax

i have a sneaky suspicion you don't know jack about "Darvin's" theory of "accidental" evolution.

Despite how convincing it is we came from a women made from the rib of a man, who was made from dust in a universe created 6000 years ago is, i think its worth looking into alternate theories. Even the crazy ones based on facts and empirical evidence.

  • @SpeakingSerpent - I have a sneaky suspicion you don't know jack about anything else than "Darvin's theory"... You are content with it and doesn't matter for you that nobody can justify even one step of this process by his theory...

  • @expertmax

I'll consider any reasonable explanation for anything. David P. Hughes is the one who published this research and did a follow up in May. (I didn't see him say anything about rabbits and snails); however, a complicated a life cycle doesn't disprove evolution. Fungi has been around for about 1.5 billion years, thats plenty of time for variations of it to try all sorts of things.

But, if you have another explanation better than evolution's, lets hear it.

  • @SpeakingSerpent

Is it really more convincing that we descended from monkeys just because some twisty ladders inside of us (DNA) look similar?

  • @Tehcrazymantid01 its not just because of that that we know we descended from apes. Besides, it makes alot more sense than magical wizard number X that created the earth.

  • @Tehcrazymantid01

No. Because we didn't evolve from monkeys. We are actually closer to apes, but we didn't descend from them either. Its the similarity in our DNA that proves it. Everything else like fossils, appearance, behavior just provides more evidence.

Empirical evidence supporting evolution is more convincing than a fairytale about a man made from dust and his rib lover that gets pregnant eating forbidden fruit because a talking snake convinced her too. Well, unless you're an idiot.

  • @SpeakingSerpent

    Wow, namecalling.

Here is a real fairytale for you: a world that came about through a random explosion, and got to where it is now through a combination of thousands more random occurrences, and near-brainless lifeforms deciding to pass down their best traits to their offspring. I am not willing to believe that there are animals that look EXACTLY like a part of their surroundings just because it happened to work for their parents,

  • @Tehcrazymantid01

who was punished for it by having his legs taken. This Earth was cursed for what we did, and now because of our own sinful natures, the planet won't stop getting worse, and we are pulling ourselves away from the only one who can fix it. But he loves us, so he sent Jesus to take away our sin so we can get close to him like he intended.

  • @SpeakingSerpent

or that the species this video is about used "instinct" to spend millions of years training itself to brainwash snails.

On top of that, these theories came from people willing to toss any one of them out the window the second they find enough evidence for another one. You cannot dig up a bunch of rocks and decide you know everything about the whole planet.

I believe in a perfect being who made a perfect world for us. Our imperfection led us to be deceived by Satan,

  • Hello fellow OATMEAL fans!!!

  • ...... The fungi one is btter

  • this is fucking crazy

  • Nature, you are creepy.

  • A pointless but eery life.

  • @iplz seriously...

  • Imagine this happening to a human. Zombies would take over the world.

  • It'snot an animal, it's fucking fungus.

  • what is this parasite called? if i went to hunt rabbits and eat the rabbit would i have to worry about this parasite getting inside me?

  • @YawningBoy we dont eat the organs of the rabbit we just eat their cooked skin, since tha parasite lives in their organs were in no danger

  • this blew my mind

  • HOLY SHIT, THIS MEANS ZOMBIES ARE REAL!!!

  • @legofanatic1 lol zombies,, lmao zombieland < watch it lol i am one of those yellow twinkies

  • @legofanatic1

Rabies creates actual zombies out of humans who happen to get bitten by a rabid animal. People can identify rabid humans easily though and kill them before epidemics begin.

  • oh my god is that even possible!?

  • Dear god, their life-cycle is more complex than a xenomorph's.

    I am in awe.

  • BS!

  • what count down is this?

  • What an insane little parasite!

  • will they attack us when this happen?

  • WHAT A CYCLE

  • still breathing but paralyzed so it is a zombie?

  • @Jessa2005099 no because it didnt die and revive with an appetite to eat its own people... its more like Stephen Hawking =)

  • if these things mutate and take over people we're fucked

  • Guys can you tell me where can I find the #1 of this show which shows some little ducks jmping off a cliff?

  • i wouldnt care if that happen to humans they will just bite at all sticks they see XD

  • dose anyone know were i can get the DVDs

  • omg.

  • Wow this is incredible :DDDDD

  • a robit?

  • lol this seems so random!

  • Wait. So do ants have eyes? I was always told that they had antennae for "seeing"

    1:18

  • A ro-butt. A machine taking orders

  • Yeah but don't some people eat rabbit? o.o I dont

  • if we can gain control of that ability we can body snatch

  • What good are parasites like this to anything?

Scary thing is, I've seen more TV documents about HUMANS being infected with parasites than animals. That scary or what?

  • @wertman264 there is it's called the microtoxic....God all mighty what kind of creatures did you put on this forlorn world :(?

  • @djk879 I bet it was human made.

  • lol thats crazy

  • ..that is...unbelievable..

  • wooo

  • holy sh*t that is freaky! what if theres somekind of undiscovered parasite that can do that to humans!?

  • If you've watched the bodysnatching episode, Toxoplasma could end up in ourselves and slow our reaction or get us in car accidents.

  • @wertman264 Its called TV

  • kool

  • That's amazing.

  • i love this show
