Anyway, u're gorgeous beyond words and I wish to compliment u without the intent of harassment on having such a lovely tongue that u display so casually and so frequently while speaking. I wish you to find on its account, among other aspects, an immense degree of pleasure in sexual engagements with your spouse and that he'll likewise enjoy your [pl] sex life, also due to it. It'll be a mistake to deprive yourself of this aspect of your sexuality because of additions to Torah by men playing God.
It has probably been driven across that Shomer Negi'a is a very twisted idea & application of the purity laws in Wayiqra (Leviticus), even as a Rabbinic fence. It creates unnecessary hardships for the woman and others as its an addition (forbidden by the Torah, mind u) to the real Torah and concurrently detracts from the command to avoid touching pure females as well.
You should channel your strength and sense of discipline into keeping what the "Written" Torah really expects as far as Tahora.
In response to Christian and Muslim scripture comments. This is just our view our story. We do not believe what you believe that is why we are Jewish and have been longer than Christianity and the Muslim culture has been around. We are a constantly abused nation. Time and again we proved that despite the odds of us survivng we managed to live on. In fact historians say that we were the least likely culture to survive, but we have.
Weve been around from Mt Sinai for about 2000 years. Christianity only came into being a thousand years later. We are a more ancient and generally religious group. This is the personal perspective of our ancient beliefs and customs in the context of a modern society, not a battle about religious beliefs.
look I am a modern Orthodox Jew as well. I won the national Bible Quiz (Chidon HaTanach) so I know that it is not a commandment in the Torah to be Shome Nigia (not touch boys). But it is a so called boundry set up by the Rabbis (in the Shulchan Aruch- Halachic (laws) guide book). Although we try follow as much of those laws as we can.
@zahavarosenblum I wish all Orthodox were as honest as you are instead of them misinforming fellow Jews and gentiles, either because they're rather ignorant or they're following the propaganda line.
@kalif151byccrew that is horrible. we are a good hearted people. I am Jewish and I am in debt, I am no JAP I have to work, I am not money seeking, I do not have a large nose. The two satirical things I do perhaps is high acheive and move my hands when I talk. But all I want to do is help the world be a better place.
Did you know that prisoners under Israeli soil get Halal food and proper medical care. Did you know that Hamas use children as human sheilds on the other hand.Perhaps you have never even met a Jew, that is why your prejudice is blinded.
@zahavarosenblum You're entitled to address anyone as you deem fit. I just fail to fathom why most Jews always seem to be apologizing and justifying themselves to Jew-hating jerks like the one you're addressing, instead of telling them to get lost.
@kalif151byccrew Since you hate us so much, why didn't you move on to another webpage, you dildo head? If you want us out of your sight, why do you continue to seek us online, O a-hole?
I have seen the shomer negia in action actually...the men and women do a wide pantomime hug sort of....and once I had job interview with a Orthodox man and he was shomer and couldn't shake my hand.
Are you allowed to date? If so, are you allowed to touch a boy if you two are dating? If you aren't it must be very hard. If you can't, whichever boy you are dating must have a lot of willpower.
But having said all that, if you believe in not touching boys, that is your right. More power to you.
@TheOneApostate And what the hell has to see that some crazy guys have made their shit ,with me?. I am not a Christian, but,I has no interest in your fucking teory about If other religions are false or not.The person should choose in who believe, no you mother fucker!.You speak bullshits about the other. You take out a gnat but you swallow a camel. You can not criticize these maniacs Catholics minority, when your country killing Palestinians. So get out of my fase idiot. You are not interesting
@TheOneApostate Sorry, I asked to the girl of the video, no you!.are you the father? You not live in Israel, I have interest to know the opinions of the people of israel because maybe I could travel.I see in your profile a video where a jew urinate on the face of jesus.I imagine the decorations to keep in your house, let me think, a statue of the Virgin Mary without a head?
@TheOneApostate Coward why?,only,I asked you a question, and you know who I am?this was an experiment the result was positive you have anger.that is the Israel´s hatred, you have the head cleaned from child and deceased that all one country death for me?Ha. Admit it, we taught to hate
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:44
And she is telling people what it's like in her life not telling others what to do. If you're not genuinely interested, don't watch the video. Get a life.
The fact is, no sane man would let a girl like you touching him nor would want having any sort of business with you. Your facial expressions and way of speaking greatly show how retarded you jewish scumbags are.
We deal with people like you by using gloves: you know, ovens are hot and it's not us who gotta burn.
Hey Rivka. A few questions for ya :D : Have you ever been to Israel? (don't know if you've said that in another video) I'm going to Israel in about a year or so, and stay there for a couple of months. If you have been there, could you write a bit about what to expect? If you haven't been to Israel: What is your impression generally of jewish people? Are they kind? Shy? let me know :D
@billyasik Sorry to contradict you but a recent poll shows that half (!) of all Egyptian women are being sexually harrassed on a daily basis.
Several of my friends and relatives who travelled to and even lived in the Middle East (not North Africa) can confirm this. It's obvious, that in the Arab world (and I even know this from my home country) this rule of no-touching, at least in practice, only applies to WOMEN and definitely not to men (just to the contrary)
What if you bump into a boy by accident, is there some kind of penance you do? What if you go for an interview for a job, can you shake the male interviewers hand when your done?
we should encourage the j**'s to marry outside their race so this kind of sexist treatment stops .it's disturbing how casual these predjudices are to some (not all ) j**'s . grow up !
@TalesFromTheNexus What do you mean sexist? If we marry outside our race wouldn't the number of practicing Jews go down? The Jewish people wouldn't be the same if no one cared about observing the Torah. Just a thought (:
guys stop commenting on her not dressing tzniusdick everyone is at thier own level and grow in difrent things at thier own time and her first step was shomernegia their are girls who dress tznius and dont keep it so i think its amazeing she started keeping it expeshily when it wasnt part of her upbrining im shure thier are many things u have to work
Geek u know nothing abt judaism. Normal jews don't go to mixed camps also ur dressed improperly with ur short sleeves wtf do u think u r some sort if rabbi cuz u claim u dnt touch boys? Stop while ur behind loser
Mishneh Torah in Sefer Qedusha in Hilkhoth Isurei Bi'ah 21:17
"The Daughters of Israel should not walk with their heads uncovered in a marketplace, whether she is available (for marriage) or whether she is married.
@Jewgirl613 shomer negiya doesnt mean guard ur body, its not in the torah, and u comprise less than 10% of the jewish population, so make it clear that u dont represent all jews with ur inane restrictions...perhaps discuss subject matters ur qualified to engage in
@Eli613teacher5000 two separate issues, and tznius is more of how not really exact skirt lines and shirt lines - dress like a Hot Chanie ( try Frum Satire ) and your tznius, but you missed the point
So you say you didn't really get guided into Shomer Negiah by your parents and brother. What made you choose it and decide that it's right for you? Was it something you learned at Shul? Or School?
no yr not crazy lol but rly good for u! i heard that most kids in america arent shomerim but dont get discouraged cuz u can move to israel were most of us are so ya... i know just what u mean cuz now im going to america for like 3 weeks and all my female friends arent shomerim so that will b awkward......
and btw here bnei akiva is even more involved in every community so u should come :)
Do you know much about the Yeshiva University crowd? I was just wondering because I know someone who is interested in going there for grad school, and the girl is also Syrian. What difficulties do you foresee, since the girl is not Jewish? Does it matter? What about dating? Would she find it difficult to find a guy, especially a Jewish guy who is willing to date her?
Also, some guys are my best friends. I would never be able to go through my dy knowing that when i needed a hug, my guy friends couldn't give any. I understand your reasoning for shomer, since I know people like that, but I don't agree
I wear pants, even shorts, yet I am very orthodox, keeping kosher and going to shul every shabbos. I say brachas (when i remember), yet I am just what most would refer to as a "normal girl." I like being this way because I can still function as a normal person, yet do all of the mitzvot and get all the positives to being Jewish. Thanks for sharing this video!
My navi teacher is very shomer, and we have fun debating about it during class. We even have an "Assur" song, Every Time We Touch" by Cascada. My teacher says "Everytime we touch. This is exactly why we DONT touch." It was so funny and set our entire class into laughter for the rest of the period.
I am also a jewish modern orthodox girl. But, I DO touch guys. I also go to a yeshiva, but my yeshiva is completely co-ed. We have all classes together, even PE, except Life Values (or sex-ed). I don't know any of my friends who are shomer. The staff at our school is much more religious than the kids, so many of my teachers are shomer. See more of my comment in the next few comments...!
I was a man in your age range just a century or two ago and I KNOW the motivations of guys that age all too well. Limiting/avoiding touching boys is a good policy. My question would be whether religious piety or personal choice is your motivation. My suggestion (if it isn't arrogant to make one) is that you wait for a man who is well-behaved & respectful enough to DESERVE a young woman who displays that much self-control. Very few men or women even try nowadays. This video is ...TOUCHING!
@Funkifizzle This "sweet young girl" is just part of a much larger elitist jewish movement that makes me sick. YOU are the one fighting the wrong fight, my main man. The fight is against economic oppression and her little zionist buddies are laughing all the way to the bank from their "holocaust" events and Jewish revival camps. They're laughing at the bank with YOUR money. wake the fuck up bro.
@Bellerophon2200, can I get some of those drugs you're taking? With the world being such a messed up place, I wish that I could view it in a completely out-of-touch, skewed, demented way too.
If I can make a suggestion (and I can); why don't you work/study harder to increase your credentials, power & influence if you feel that you've lost control of your success and contentment to "others"? Isn't that the kind of thing that people like you always tell blacks, latinos, natives and other groups?
@FlyUnicornsFly What do you mean, "you people"? btw I do that already. It's not a matter of influence or power, it's a matter of seeing what it does to others. I can't be arsed to write what's wrong with the world. All I can tell you is that you should look at Gaza, look at fascist zionism and look at how jewish bankers all the way up to the Fed (Ben "Shalom" Bernanke) keep American debtors as slaves because they think they are just human cattle. They're just tyrannical financial Autocrats.
I am a reform Jewish Girl, and I am in love with my youth group- NFTY, it's kind of my life! :) because this summer I'm going to my last year of Jewish camp! (i will be sobbing!) So I completely understand what you are saying! And I completely respect you for not touching boys, I dont think I could. But yeah! Also do you go to Yeshiva?
@JGIRL2296 Awww, I know what that's like - HAVE AN AMAZING TIME!!!! Don't worry, as you get older you realize there may be more to life than just camp (maybe....=P), and hopefully you can go back and work at your camp the following summer! Have an amazing last year tho :D
@JGIRL2296 I'd just like to say that I am a NFTY alumni and NFTY was one of the greatest experiences of my life that I wish I could get back, so I totatly understand.
Are you allowed to date or even marry someone who isn't Jewish? Just curious because I knew many Jews (both men & women) who dated and even married out of their race/religion.
@Jewgirl613 "Nope, not allowed to marry a non-Jew. No Jew is allowed to, some people just do anyway."
That's retarded, there's no such thing as God and ethno-religious nationalism is stupid. Join the modern 21st century and go and enjoy your life shagging as many good looking guys as you want.
If Edilson Nascimento offered to shag you I bet you wouldn't say no even though he's catholic. Pleasure for all is the most important thing in life.
@KatandKathy The short answer is to prevent assimilation. Usually the non-Jewish spouse would raise the children under a different faith or as non-Jews and Judaism strives to prevents this from happening by prohibiting interfaith marriage.
sweetheart, a Jew can come from any country or even be any color, so you cant tell other JEWS what to do. We can NOT practice Judaism AND we can marry or fuck whoever we want. Relax.
That is really interesting that you are that strict about guarding your body like that. I am Christian and I have one friend who has pledged not to kiss her fiance until they are married. I wish I had the strong willpower that you and my friend seem to have! Keep it up! Ladies stay true to your beliefs, no matter what faith you are!
Go back there, where you belong so this way not only Jews but Berbers, Copts, Phoenicians, Nubians, Assyrians and Chaldeans can all have their land back and won't to have to put up with endless violence and bigotry of Arab colonialism.
Your doing a good job, don't take the negative response serious , it should be only taken serious if they have a good foundation... WHICH THEY DON'T HAVE.
Keep up the good work!
An Agnosticist who's open to all religions and cultures
Mother Serse was a greek myth in wich she lured me into her home an fed off of them.Mother Serse translated to kirk in celtic wich means CHURCH.Virgin Mary=Virgo,Jesus=piscis, this is why Jesus was the great fisherman, piscis=two fish.Jesus told apostles to go to the man with the water pitcher after he left, aquarius=man with water pitcher.WAKE UP!!ITS ALL ASTROTHEOLOGY.
It always looks funny when American jews try to become "better jews" by "increasing" faith.. This is not christianity guys, the only thing that can make you a better jew is an Aliyah.
Ah, you'll always have haters... Kudos for putting yourself out there. I personally disagree with shomer negia very strongly, but I'm also from a Reform background... Just cultural differences. ;)
Last comment. It makes no sense that Rabbi's have turned impurity into specifically a woman issue and only if they are married. If we had the temple this would be a serious problem to have all unmarried women of childbearing age impure and also not having men go to the mikvah when they become impure with an emission of semon. The main point is that sexuality for both genders should serve a higher purpose of bringing life and not just for one's bodily pleasures. See Leviticus (Vayikra) 15:31.
We are not in middle age no more, hug is not sex! If you had been born in India you would been Hindu, is just cultural! That rigid codes just make you merry a Jew in the end of the day... You would have a broader choice of mans to choose from If you didn´t follow that tradition.
@TheDriveMaster While I don't know what the law is in your own country (Portugal); in The United States people can do pretty much whatever they want as long as it doesn't interfere with the freedom of others.
You seem to have a rather big problem with this; I think this is as good a metaphor as there is to explain European hatred for the US, particularly in regard as to the Jewish minority here and especially in Europe.
Indeed, you sound like something out of the Middle Ages this way.
@SatchmoSings Do you just want people to tell how beautifull you are and what magnificent words of wisdom came out of yout mouth? I am on Youtube I accepted being expose to your ideas, and I I think you should learn to discuss other people comments on them, if not, what´s the point of making this videos? Yes people can do whateaver they want, but that includes giving opinions. Your idea of liberty is against the freedem of other people doing so becouse you are a Jew?
@TheDriveMaster Our hostess here can impose, upon herself, what you described as a "rigid code" provided it doesn't bother anyone else and since it DOESN'T bother anyone else, including you, then what's the point of making it an issue?
You are, perhaps, choosing to make this an issue because this self-imposition is being done BY a Jew.
You don't seem to have any real understanding of the kind of freedom we practice here in the US; you yourself made reference to differences in culture.
@SatchmoSings Perhaps you should proove accusations before you make them. Is a principle of democracy. Your liberty did born in Europe, just look what country given you the Statue of Liberty. Opinions are not about what "bother anyone else" my friend, they are about understanding, knowladge and logic. Why bothers you so much what bothers me? Don´t be superficial and irracional to make yourself look good, check out my comments about other religions also, and my Jewish friends.
@TheDriveMaster Yes, the whole idea of "The Enlightenment" is what gave the US Founders the idea to make a Republic and yes, France did give us the statue of Liberty.
That said, look at how the US handled Republicanism vs. the French; they had "The Reign of Terror;" the US did not and that too, is obviously something very cultural.
@TheDriveMaster 02. I came to an opinion about what motivated your own desire to express your opinion with our hostess; surely, as someone that understands different cultures you should and can appreciate that same factor being at work in me when I responded to your own posting!
@TheDriveMaster 02. My culture, the culture of FREEDOM, as practiced in the place that first brought it to codification, is obviously different than yours; we have grown up differently.
Odd that you would claim this in regard to our hostess but then ignore it when it pertains to yourself; implicit in this is a claim that your culture is superior, which, in my opinion, it isn't.
"Jewgirl613" isn't preaching and she isn't demanding that people do as she does, let alone agree with her.
@SatchmoSings Big letters for freedom? Your word freedom is bigger then mine? Is this what is all about? xD Your "hostess" is not debating my point, she assume something on video but then she can´t talk about it and diverge to "europeans hate USA". She is not preaching, OMG I tought her for a Rabi! xD Thanks for telling me this, again, what I would do without people like you in the world LOL Before that your culture from freedom came from Africa XD don´t forget that Mr Freedom!
@SatchmoSings If you don´t know about the law in my country, Google it! xD No I don´t have a big problem about liberty, I am more free then you, no religion controls my taughts or actions, like in the middle ages! What europeans hate US, particularly in regard of the Jewish minority? There are a lot of europeans and a lot of jews (yes some Jewish girls touch boys), that generalization is dumb! And I don´t hate you, in fact I think you are kind of cute xD Sory about that!
@TheDriveMaster While I am clearly of "The Jewish Nation" I've been Atheist for most of my adult life and you don'thave to reach back to The Middle Ages for having religion controlling people's thoughts and actions because, like our hostess here, many people still do it now.
Europe has different traditions then the United States; the most handy example of that, for me, as an American, is Canada, a country very different this way, from my own.
@SatchmoSings You are clearly of the "Jewish Nation" ? Clear for who? In my opinion you could be just about from "any nation". What I have to do with your atheism? Now you are assuming me as an atheist? Thanks for the information that some people are controled by religion beside some Jews, amazing knowledge! Ok Canada is different then USA, great! Amazing really...
@TheDriveMaster Cool, so did my husband. That's why I married him but you stay in your packet and when you find a nice lady, make sure she doesn't have germs and then have lots and lots of fun :).
The reality is the whole issue of touching should apply with women to other women as well. After all unmarried women (don't ask me why) don't go to the mikva after menstruation so they are always considered impure. To be fair the men become impure for wasting their sperm as well. And in the bible when you are impure you can't go to the temple and you will make other items impure. I don't believe in sex before marriage but touching just to apply to men has no real basis in the torah.
@Adam6275 You just answered your own question. Impurities from menstruation are the basis of hilchot shomer negiah. It should not apply with somen touching other women as well because we are ALL impure. However, men are not allowed to become impure in such a way from a woman.
Yes, men become impure by wasting their sperm, which is why ejaculation is forbidden. However, these are two seperate forms of impurities. Even if they weren't, that would just result in a stronger case for shomer negiah.
@Jewgirl613 Actually they aren't very different and it is sad that the Rabbi's have distorted what these impurities are. They both are discussed in Leviticus Chapter 15. In says openly 15:19 when a woman has her discharge her discharge from her flesh being blood she shall be in her state of seperation for seven days and ANYONE who touches her shall remain contaminated until evening.
@Jewgirl613 Part 2 of my answer: The Rabbi's have no problem always puting down other men and distorting parts of the torah for this agenda as they don't want women to think well of other men. But this impurity has nothing to do with men. It has to do with if a woman is in her childbearing years or is pregnant or nursing. Just like a man when a man wastes his semon he is not using what God gave him for the higher purpose of bringing life. Same with women during their childbearing years.
@Jewgirl613 Chabad has no problem with married chabad men using "nonjewish" hookers when their wives are niddah. are you claiming chabad violates your idea of impurity?
@Jewgirl613 Would you like it if I went up to you and touched you? This has nothing to do with race or religion. The female gender is responsible for the uptight attitude towards touching and sex. Most men and boys think about sex 24/7 but don't want to get charged with sexual assault so they have to refrain themselves and have no other option but lots and lots of masturbation starting at a young age. That makes all men impure then right?
@jesseeinblau Actually, Jewish boys who have the right mindset and focus on the study of Torah are able to avoid thinking impure thoughts. Obviously it is difficult but I know many guys who try very hard and they purposely distance themselves from things that would lead to impure thoughts like movies, TV and some songs. There is something to be said for a person who is able to do this in today's day and age.
@Jewgirl613 Rivka, the unfortunate problem seems to be you didn't read the purity sections in Sefer Vayikra from the Hebrew original or from a good translation (I propose Everett Fox's "5 Books of Moses") sans Mefarshim. Only then you can find out youre not making sense in assertiing that avoiding contact with other females isn't required. 2ndly, the rule of prohibiting ejaculation is a distortion of Onan's story that flies in the face of the Text's plain meaning. The Torah doesn't prohibit it.
how necessary is it to be shomer negiah? like, i don't know any boy, or girl who is. heck, i hadn't even heard of it before today.. and i'm jewish! i gave a boy a blowjob as his bar mitzvah present.. and i wasn't even the only one. i thought it was common..
@exposed97 What you think and believe is your own business but when you decide to not only wear it on your sleeve but also try to shove it down the throats of the Jews here then you have clearly stepped over a line; it is then that it becomes hate speech.
@exposed97 There is no evidence of Jesus ever having lived on this earth; there is absolutely no contemporary, first-hand, extra-biblical accounting of such a being.
There is also no Hell; no one has ever seen such a place; it's all made up myth and lore.
@SatchmoSings Actually your wrong about that one theres alot historians and people back then in his time that actually talked about him and there other evidence that pretty much suggest that jesus was an actual person, and if you don't believe me there's a youtube channel on here called Oallos1 that specifically talks about stuff like that
@MrBingie I am not wrong about this; there is no contemporary, first-hand, extra-biblical accounting of a Jesus.
Indeed, you didn't use up your 500 characters; you could have given me the name of one of these alleged historians to "google."
Additionally, you could have sent this to me as a private message (with the name/s of these alleged historians) rather than making your case for this alleged Jesus on a page where a Jewish topic is being discussed; you're not too respectful; typical.
@SatchmoSings Yeah or maybe you could of just looked at the channel I gave you which is "Oallos1" I don't care really whether you believe or not all I know is 1John 23 says Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. And this goes for everyone, even if you are a Jew, and on top of all this I can say what ever I want just like I'm doing now , and plus you really don't seem so respectful yourself
@MrBingie Your response was to post more Christian preaching in a room set up by and dealing with an issue dear to observant Jews.
Yes, you can say whatever you want, where you want on "youtube" but you then obviously have a problem when I too, can do the same including showing you the respect I think not only your ideas but you personally deserve.
@SatchmoSings Really you don't strike me as someone thats an "observant Jew" , but regardless all the proof you need can found be right in the Torah(Old Testament ) in scriptures which talks about the Messiah, Which I would be happy to Private Message you about and you can tell me how they wouldn't have anything to do with Jesus, cause read it alot it seems like to me describes him, and if your an observant Jew you can explain to me how they aren't instead of just denying it
@MrBingie I'm not an observant Jew; if you'd bother scanning this page you'd see where I said I was Atheist.
I'm 55 years old and I've heard about this alleged Jesus of yours, ad nauseum.
Jesus is not The Messiah for he didn't fulfill all the prophecy that the Old Testament (NOT the Torah; It's more correctly called, by Christians, The Hebrew Bible; Jews just call it "The Bible) clearly outlines.
I'm not interested in any private messages from the likes of you.
@SatchmoSings You know you don't make any sense right, you talked observant Jews and how people shouldn't talk about Jesus on this channel because it was somehow "disrespectful" when to find out you yourself was an atheist and didn't believe in God in the first place, so obviously it doesn't take a genius understand why someone would deny his Son given the fact that person denies His Father also. "
@MrBingie But if you really want to have a discussion on how "you" believe Jesus was not a fulfillment of Bible prophecy then PM me( private message)and we can talk about it.
@MrBingie Except for "you people" in here preaching to observant Jews about the so-called benefits of Christianity (along with someone else here complaining about Zionism), I have participated entirely in the spirit of this topic; at no time have I ever made it a point to tell an Orthodox Jew that what they believe is wrong and that they should believe as I do.
@exposed97 Thank for coming to a Jewish-oriented page to spread your message of Christianity; we've all seen it before and we'll all encounter it again.
Also, thank you for not acknowledging what I spoon fed to you as a response despite your denials of same; that's more of your bigotry and your failure to acknowledge is is more of your utter failure as a communicator.
@exposed97 03. So here you are telling a Jewish person in a room devoted to an issue that Jews are discussing, that things central to the tenets of Judaism, namely Hashem and Torah "don't exist."
Okay, suppose I came somewhere where you were discussing a Christian-oriented issue and I asked "what is Jesus" and then proceeded to insist there is no such thing and went on, and on about it?
You're a bigoted piece of garbage; mind your own business.
@exposed97 "I love Jesus Christ, He is Lord accept Him into your life and He'll save you from hell :)"
"@exposed97 Good for you. I'm happy that you've found something that you like. But like you Christians, we Jews are faithful to the Torah. We truly appreciate your steadfast support for Israel and Hashem will bless you for your actions. Am Yisroel Chai."
"@mavasonic Who is Hashem? What is the Torah? Who is Yisrel Chai?"
What if I briefly put my hand on an orthodox girl's arm and then tell her I touched her on purpose just to see her reaction given that I know about the rules against it? You are too repressed in terms of sex and touching and that is not healthy. It is not the case that all men are malevolent shmuks or that a girl and guy have to be married before they can get companionship from each other.
@lyutsin21 I have actually had that happen to me. I will not get struck by lightening if a man touches me or anything. And I have touched several men by accident.
However, I do not believe that I am "too repressed in terms of sex and touching". I do not touch men because G-d has commanded me not to, so that I won't be taken avantage of, and to save myself for my husband.
@Jewgirl613 Rivka, if you want to keep the Shomer Negiah that's your prerogative, but just don't claim Elohim commanded you to do it since that's at variance with the facts. The fact of the matter is that rabbis commanded their followers to do it.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt you were misled by your rabbis who lied to you and you weren't lying here. Just know that lying is a sin nonetheless and we must be accurate when we explain who commanded us to do something.
There are so many teenage pregnancies now, and I thin it is terrible. It is MUCH easier not to have sex when you already know that you shouldn't be touching him at all.
Don't worry about harassment, I've never touched any woman and probably never will. But touching and sex are necessary in order to satisfy our physiological/sexual needs. Everyone has these innate needs and there is nothing to do about it except have sex/touch as more frequently than religious people are allowed and if you don't you will have some bad psychological problems from un-releved sexual tension. Just use male/female condoms/avoid people with diseases.
@lyutsin21 Why would I have bad psychological problems from not having sex?? Do you see how screwed up our world is today because people can't suppress their sexual desires?? It wasnt always like this, what with AIDS and teenage pregnancies and ppl not even knowing who the fathers of their babies are!
Yeah, your are right. But have some understanding. Perpetual involuntary celibacy is way worse of a problem for affected men. Women are little affected, because their genes make them very picky about which men they choose, + they derive comfort/companionship from their female platonic friends while men don't feel companionship from male friends+ genes make us need to have sex a lot more frequently.
@lyutsin21 SO I shouldn't save myself for the man I love because men are more sexually needy and I should feel bad for them?? thats how youre making it sound...
I wish women I meet would act exactly like I am making it sound. As for you, I don't care how you act because you are too much younger than me and I'll never have anything to do with you. But theoretically, if you disregard or overcome the sexual repression/shame/guilt/fear, its healthier to not "save" yourself.
I went to Young Judea(another Jewish camp/zionist org) and kids were dry humping at like 12/13 and half the counselors were getting laid. Obviously sex outside marriage is proscribed, but touching between two kids being bad??
Hi, I'm really interested in Judaism and I would like to know how your life differs from non-jews.
I also think your incredibly hot!!!

Handler201 1 week ago
It has probably been driven across that Shomer Negi'a is a very twisted idea & application of the purity laws in Wayiqra (Leviticus), even as a Rabbinic fence. It creates unnecessary hardships for the woman and others as its an addition (forbidden by the Torah, mind u) to the real Torah and concurrently detracts from the command to avoid touching pure females as well.
You should channel your strength and sense of discipline into keeping what the "Written" Torah really expects as far as Tahora.

it is simply a rabbinic command that defies G-D.

In fact historians say that we were the least likely culture to survive, but we have.
zahavarosenblum 2 months ago

Are you allowed to date? If so, are you allowed to touch a boy if you two are dating? If you aren't it must be very hard. If you can't, whichever boy you are dating must have a lot of willpower.
But having said all that, if you believe in not touching boys, that is your right. More power to you.

@billyasik Sorry to contradict you but a recent poll shows that half (!) of all Egyptian women are being sexually harrassed on a daily basis.
Several of my friends and relatives who travelled to and even lived in the Middle East (not North Africa) can confirm this. It's obvious, that in the Arab world (and I even know this from my home country) this rule of no-touching, at least in practice, only applies to WOMEN and definitely not to men (just to the contrary)
thelordofassholes 4 months ago
@thelordofassholes :
Well, i dont know if such a thing really happened in Egypt,
Anyways im not Arab and i live in South-East Asia.
In my Country if such a thing ever happen, the man who did it (sexual harassment) will be in BIG Trouble.

There is no reason to connect this to a religion.

:)

FlyUnicornsFly 10 months ago
@FlyUnicornsFly What do you mean, "you people"? btw I do that already. It's not a matter of influence or power, it's a matter of seeing what it does to others. I can't be arsed to write what's wrong with the world. All I can tell you is that you should look at Gaza, look at fascist zionism and look at how jewish bankers all the way up to the Fed (Ben "Shalom" Bernanke) keep American debtors as slaves because they think they are just human cattle.

TheDriveMaster 1 year ago
@TheDriveMaster While I don't know what the law is in your own country (Portugal); in The United States people can do pretty much whatever they want as long as it doesn't interfere with the freedom of others.
You seem to have a rather big problem with this; I think this is as good a metaphor as there is to explain European hatred for the US, particularly in regard as to the Jewish minority here and especially in Europe.
Indeed, you sound like something out of the Middle Ages this way.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings Do you just want people to tell how beautifull you are and what magnificent words of wisdom came out of yout mouth? I am on Youtube I accepted being expose to your ideas, and I I think you should learn to discuss other people comments on them, if not, what´s the point of making this videos? Yes people can do whateaver they want, but that includes giving opinions. Your idea of liberty is against the freedem of other people doing so becouse you are a Jew?
TheDriveMaster 1 year ago
@TheDriveMaster Our hostess here can impose, upon herself, what you described as a "rigid code" provided it doesn't bother anyone else and since it DOESN'T bother anyone else, including you, then what's the point of making it an issue?
You are, perhaps, choosing to make this an issue because this self-imposition is being done BY a Jew.
You don't seem to have any real understanding of the kind of freedom we practice here in the US; you yourself made reference to differences in culture.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings Perhaps you should proove accusations before you make them. Is a principle of democracy. Your liberty did born in Europe, just look what country given you the Statue of Liberty. Opinions are not about what "bother anyone else" my friend, they are about understanding, knowladge and logic. Why bothers you so much what bothers me? Don´t be superficial and irracional to make yourself look good, check out my comments about other religions also, and my Jewish friends.
TheDriveMaster 1 year ago
@TheDriveMaster Yes, the whole idea of "The Enlightenment" is what gave the US Founders the idea to make a Republic and yes, France did give us the statue of Liberty.
That said, look at how the US handled Republicanism vs. the French; they had "The Reign of Terror;" the US did not and that too, is obviously something very cultural.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@TheDriveMaster 02. I came to an opinion about what motivated your own desire to express your opinion with our hostess; surely, as someone that understands different cultures you should and can appreciate that same factor being at work in me when I responded to your own posting!
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@TheDriveMaster 02.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings Big letters for freedom? Your word freedom is bigger then mine? She is not preaching, OMG I tought her for a Rabi! xD Thanks for telling me this, again, what I would do without people like you in the world LOL Before that your culture from freedom came from Africa XD don´t forget that Mr Freedom!
TheDriveMaster 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings If you don´t know about the law in my country, Google it! xD No I don´t have a big problem about liberty, I am more free then you, no religion controls my taughts or actions, like in the middle ages! What europeans hate US, particularly in regard of the Jewish minority? There are a lot of europeans and a lot of jews (yes some Jewish girls touch boys), that generalization is dumb! And I don´t hate you, in fact I think you are kind of cute xD Sory about that!
TheDriveMaster 1 year ago
@TheDriveMaster While I am clearly of "The Jewish Nation" I've been Atheist for most of my adult life and you don'thave to reach back to The Middle Ages for having religion controlling people's thoughts and actions because, like our hostess here, many people still do it now.
Europe has different traditions then the United States; the most handy example of that, for me, as an American, is Canada, a country very different this way, from my own.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings You are clearly of the "Jewish Nation" ? Clear for who? In my opinion you could be just about from "any nation". What I have to do with your atheism? The reality is the whole issue of touching should apply with women to other women as well. After all unmarried women (don't ask me why) don't go to the mikva after menstruation so they are always considered impure. To be fair the men become impure for wasting their sperm as well. And in the bible when you are impure you can't go to the temple and you will make other items impure. I don't believe in sex before marriage but touching just to apply to men has no real basis in the torah.
Adam6275 1 year ago
@Adam6275 You just answered your own question. Impurities from menstruation are the basis of hilchot shomer negiah. It should not apply with somen touching other women as well because we are ALL impure. However, men are not allowed to become impure in such a way from a woman.
Yes, men become impure by wasting their sperm, which is why ejaculation is forbidden. However, these are two seperate forms of impurities. Even if they weren't, that would just result in a stronger case for shomer negiah.
Jewgirl613 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613 Actually they aren't very different and it is sad that the Rabbi's have distorted what these impurities are. They both are discussed in Leviticus Chapter 15. In says openly 15:19 when a woman has her discharge her discharge from her flesh being blood she shall be in her state of seperation for seven days and ANYONE who touches her shall remain contaminated until evening.
Adam6275 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613 Part 2 of my answer: The Rabbi's have no problem always puting down other men and distorting parts of the torah for this agenda as they don't want women to think well of other men. But this impurity has nothing to do with men. It has to do with if a woman is in her childbearing years or is pregnant or nursing. Just like a man when a man wastes his semon he is not using what God gave him for the higher purpose of bringing life. Same with women during their childbearing years.
Adam6275 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613 Chabad has no problem with married chabad men using "nonjewish" hookers when their wives are niddah. are you claiming chabad violates your idea of impurity?
BrooklynNotQueens 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613 Would you like it if I went up to you and touched you? This has nothing to do with race or religion. The female gender is responsible for the uptight attitude towards touching and sex. Most men and boys think about sex 24/7 but don't want to get charged with sexual assault so they have to refrain themselves and have no other option but lots and lots of masturbation starting at a young age. That makes all men impure then right?
jesseeinblau 1 year ago
@jesseeinblau Actually, Jewish boys who have the right mindset and focus on the study of Torah are able to avoid thinking impure thoughts. Obviously it is difficult but I know many guys who try very hard and they purposely distance themselves from things that would lead to impure thoughts like movies, TV and some songs. There is something to be said for a person who is able to do this in today's day and age.
reebs1230 11 months ago

SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@exposed97 That may be; unfortunately you do not.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@exposed97 I am offended; that's because, being the Chrstian you are, you're offensive.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@exposed97 There is no evidence of Jesus ever having lived on this earth; there is absolutely no contemporary, first-hand, extra-biblical accounting of such a being.
There is also no Hell; no one has ever seen such a place; it's all made up myth and lore.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings Actually your wrong about that one theres alot historians and people back then in his time that actually talked about him and there other evidence that pretty much suggest that jesus was an actual person, and if you don't believe me there's a youtube channel on here called Oallos1 that specifically talks about stuff like that
MrBingie 1 year ago
@MrBingie I am not wrong about this; there is no contemporary, first-hand, extra-biblical accounting of a Jesus.
Indeed, you didn't use up your 500 characters; you could have given me the name of one of these alleged historians to "google."
Additionally, you could have sent this to me as a private message (with the name/s of these alleged historians) rather than making your case for this alleged Jesus on a page where a Jewish topic is being discussed; you're not too respectful; typical.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings Yeah or maybe you could of just looked at the channel I gave you which is "Oallos1" I don't care really whether you believe or not all I know is 1John 23 says Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. And this goes for everyone, even if you are a Jew, and on top of all this I can say what ever I want just like I'm doing now , and plus you really don't seem so respectful yourself
MrBingie 1 year ago
@MrBingie Your response was to post more Christian preaching in a room set up by and dealing with an issue dear to observant Jews.
Yes, you can say whatever you want, where you want on "youtube" but you then obviously have a problem when I too, can do the same including showing you the respect I think not only your ideas but you personally deserve.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@SatchmoSings Really you don't strike me as someone thats an "observant Jew" , but regardless all the proof you need can found be right in the Torah(Old Testament ) in scriptures which talks about the Messiah, Which I would be happy to Private Message you about and you can tell me how they wouldn't have anything to do with Jesus, cause read it alot it seems like to me describes him, and if your an observant Jew you can explain to me how they aren't instead of just denying it
MrBingie 1 year ago

MrBingie 1 year ago
@MrBingie But if you really want to have a discussion on how "you" believe Jesus was not a fulfillment of Bible prophecy then PM me( private message)and we can talk about it.
MrBingie 1 year ago
@MrBingie Except for "you people" in here preaching to observant Jews about the so-called benefits of Christianity (along with someone else here complaining about Zionism), I have participated entirely in the spirit of this topic; at no time have I ever made it a point to tell an Orthodox Jew that what they believe is wrong and that they should believe as I do.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@exposed97 Thank for coming to a Jewish-oriented page to spread your message of Christianity; we've all seen it before and we'll all encounter it again.
Also, thank you for not acknowledging what I spoon fed to you as a response despite your denials of same; that's more of your bigotry and your failure to acknowledge is is more of your utter failure as a communicator.
SatchmoSings 1 year ago
@exposed97 03. So here you are telling a Jewish person in a room devoted to an issue that Jews are discussing, that things central to the tenets of Judaism, namely Hashem and Torah "don't exist."
Okay, suppose I came somewhere where you were discussing a Christian-oriented issue and I asked "what is Jesus" and then proceeded to insist there is no such thing and went on, and on about it?
You're a bigoted piece of garbage; mind your own business.

What if I briefly put my hand on an orthodox girl's arm and then tell her I touched her on purpose just to see her reaction given that I know about the rules against it? You are too repressed in terms of sex and touching and that is not healthy. It is not the case that all men are malevolent shmuks or that a girl and guy have to be married before they can get companionship from each other.
lyutsin21 1 year ago
@lyutsin21 I have actually had that happen to me. I will not get struck by lightening if a man touches me or anything. And I have touched several men by accident.
However, I do not believe that I am "too repressed in terms of sex and touching". I do not touch men because G-d has commanded me not to, so that I won't be taken avantage of, and to save myself for my husband.
Jewgirl613 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613 Rivka, if you want to keep the Shomer Negiah that's your prerogative, but just don't claim Elohim commanded you to do it since that's at variance with the facts. The fact of the matter is that rabbis commanded their followers to do it.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt you were misled by your rabbis who lied to you and you weren't lying here. Just know that lying is a sin nonetheless and we must be accurate when we explain who commanded us to do something.

@lyutsin21
There are so many teenage pregnancies now, and I thin it is terrible. It is MUCH easier not to have sex when you already know that you shouldn't be touching him at all.
Jewgirl613 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613
Just use male/female condoms/avoid people with diseases.
lyutsin21 1 year ago
@lyutsin21 Why would I have bad psychological problems from not having sex?? Do you see how screwed up our world is today because people can't suppress their sexual desires?? It wasnt always like this, what with AIDS and teenage pregnancies and ppl not even knowing who the fathers of their babies are!
Jewgirl613 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613
Yeah, your are right. But have some understanding. Perpetual involuntary celibacy is way worse of a problem for affected men. Women are little affected, because their genes make them very picky about which men they choose, + they derive comfort/companionship from their female platonic friends while men don't feel companionship from male friends+ genes make us need to have sex a lot more frequently.
lyutsin21 1 year ago
@lyutsin21 SO I shouldn't save myself for the man I love because men are more sexually needy and I should feel bad for them?? thats how youre making it sound...
Jewgirl613 1 year ago
@Jewgirl613
I wish women I meet would act exactly like I am making it sound. As for you, I don't care how you act because you are too much younger than me and I'll never have anything to do with you. But theoretically, if you disregard or overcome the sexual repression/shame/guilt/fear, its healthier to not "save" yourself.

Shomer negia is a fine idea but I personally draw the line at the refusal of members of the opposite sex to shake hands in a public setting.
I am entirely secular and in NO WAY will I shake hands with a man that refuses to shake hands with a woman in a public forum.
I'm a Republicanist and I'm sure the observant men in such a situation will respect my beliefs regarding the egalitarianism of Republicism.

Thats retarded ......
Thats an extreme interpretation of the law.
I went to Young Judea(another Jewish camp/zionist org) and kids were dry humping at like 12/13 and half the counselors were getting laid. Obviously sex outside marriage is proscribed, but touching between two kids being bad??
That's ridic imho.
zaxx19 1 year ago
@zaxx19 Haha maybe I saw you this summer, we bumped into a bunch of Young Judea groups.
And um, yeah. Way to prove my point. 12 yr olds shouldnt be dry humping and counselors shouldnt be getting laid on a respectable Jewish program.
