Well, a band as tight as The Tubes would know total crap when they hear it. Perhaps your band wasn't up to their performance standards. I mena, when you are opening for musicians like Rick Anderson or Roger Steen you better have your chops together or Quay will rip you a new one...more than likely he was ribbing you. Toughen up. You're lucky to share the same stage with musicians like them.

We opened for the Tubes the other night, Hard Rock(ac-dc-ish)...went over well,considering all the compliments afterwards. However ,Fee came on stage and proceeded to tell the crowd how much we sucked! Sounded like a PILE OF SHIT!!

Wow........what an asshole, never seen anything like it in all the concerts and clubs I've been too, freakin unbelievable!

The crowd couldn't believe either....

Fee is usually as warm and fuzzy as they come. I've never known him to behave that way unless it was justified..Or he mighta been kidding you. I find it very hard to believe that he would go out of his way to be an asshole.
