OMG Of course I remember the orange # 33 Mike Jablonski ! He had 2 daughters and a very pretty wife. I cannot wait to get to face book.....! I remember him before he raced And of couse was part of the 1st turn gang. My Dad and Uncle like them very much.
watched was sooooo moving....Please, if you ever get back to town I would love to treat you to a night of racing. We must have met somewhere along the times at Windsor. I was there every Friday and for that short while Sundays while they had both nights. That was a great group of people in that first turn...Special times. I THANK YOU again......Susan
We may very well have sat close to each other. I was part of the Garry Boekhout and Mike Jablonski gang. (33sr and 33jr Sportsmans) I have a bunch of pics you might enjoy on my facebook page.
I do not know what to say..Yes~ Stan my father, the second one in the shot. My Uncle Ed is the one closest to the camera. I was so moved to say the least !! I just returned that night from New Egypt, after many years of not going at all, and an old friend said did you see the video of your father and Uncle gave me the website and alI can say is I was Shocked.I had no idea it would be so close up, and truely felt he looked right at me ! I sent it my aunt and uncle and to hear them as thay
Eddie of coarse. It all comes back to me now. Didnt your father go by "Stosh" also?
There was also another guy that was always with them, heavier guy, always had a cooler of Shafer beer. I remember him sneaking me one once in awhile while I was still underage. Times have sure changed!
@racewayvideo hello again sorry I have not been in touch but moving and starting own business....Yes that was Racing John.....Have not seen yet ..Yeah...lol I can see him doing that....He passed way very young......Heart attack I believe Hope you are well...A minute withmy dad....THank you again more than words.....
My father and Uncle who sat in the first turn (first one there puttng up blanket my Dad) FOR OVER 30 Years are the two men waving in the picture !! What a wonderful suprise for me since my father's passing in 2005. I feel like he is waving to me !!! Thank you so very much to the maker, for picking these two brothers who shared this sport all their lives together......True respectful Raceman. I was at Widsor and Flemington late 60's and most of 70's God those were the days!
It wasnt an accident that I include them in the video clip. I too spent just about every weekend at East Windsor thru the 70's. We always sat in that same area and got to know your father and uncle. I remember one of them was named Stan but cant now remember the others name. They were great company and I was very surprised when I went to the track in 1991 for the first time in 15 or 20 years, and there they were, sitting in the same seats. A great couple of guys!
I grew up going to East Windsor on friday nights. Its a shame what is happening to all the race tracks in Jersey. I can't help but to feel pissed off that this once great track is now a dumbass housing development. The only oval tracks left in Jersey are Wall Speedway and New Egypt Speedway. If these tracks close down, I'm giving Jersey the middle finger and leaving this lame ass state.
Miss you Cuz @ 3:38
