  • Na mate, i never put her down the 1/4 mile after all the mods, but was doing about 16s stock.

  • my tf 250xflow cortina has got 128rwhp at 2500 rpm lol, i couldnt rev it anyharder without the oil light coming on

  • thats pretty good, my ef xr6 has 155.2rwkw, with pacie extractors, stainless high-flow cat,2 1/4 inch exhaust, stage 3 crow cam, chiptorque chip, and modified air intake. thats it. want more though.

  • My auto EF XR6 made 134rwkw's with only a set of pacemaker extractors, 2.5" free flo exhaust and K&n filter.. That was at Myaree dyno many years ago.. I was pretty chuffed with that result from a straight n/a six.

  • yeah mine made mid 120 with similar set up, the cam and other bits made the rest of the power. it was a great car, its now been replaced with an AU3 XR8 as the daily driver.

  • what kinda cam has it got, good figures aye how much torque does it have?

  • I put in the Jim Mock Motorsport 3HL cam. not sure what the torque was, wasn't on the print out.

  • how highs she rev?? or is it still on standard settings, my mates worked EF 4.0L's got a 500 Holley sucking for it(in an EA shell), he reved it to 8000rpm & "BANG" lmao good buy lifters & rocker arms (head & block worked)for a carby.

    those are some not bad Kilowatts you pumping out for some mild mods.

  • yep, still factory ECU so factory red line, you can actually hear it hit the rev limiter. those motors are not designed to rev, just all torque. it was a great car...

  • oh yeah now i listened to it louder & i can hear the limiter, i'm a Nissan(R31)man myself but thats cause i like the straight 6 & there potential, GO!!Ford & Nissan ;)

  • A stock EF should make around 100-110rwkws, mine made 125odd after the headers and big bore. then with high lift cam, valve springs, adjustable pully, leads, plugs, air intake mods etc, it made 143rwkW.

    the biggest variance in kW figures will be the dyno, they can vary by up to 10%.
