    Excellent job, guys.

  • wow!! from one musician to the 3 of you ..... just absolutely beautiful!! thanks for this :)

  • Wow wow wow!! And one never imagined such improvisation was possible with an infinitely beautiful song. Kudos guys!!

  • Beautiful version! Después de la original, es la que más me ha gustado hasta ahora... como me gustaría poder improvisar así!

  • wow! very impressive. i could "feel" that one. loved the dynamics. very nice work guys!!!

  • Thanks!

  • I would have never guessed this would make a great jazz instrumental, but it does !

Great arrangement of a classic King Krimson tune. Loved the original, and now this version too! A very inventive treatment of a tune we don't hear enough now adays!

  • Thanks!

  • as I always say, a great song transcends genre... beautiful!!!

  • Fantastic Guys. Just Fantastic

  • Thank you!!

  • This just made my day!

  • WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

  • Thank You so much ;-)

  • very nice, reminds me of how much i have yet to learn on all of the instruments

    : )

is the guitar played pitzacato (please excuse the spelling)?

  • Outstanding. The finesse of the cymbal work is a nice rendition to the greatest: Mike Giles.

  • I'd like to hear Fripp's comments on this sensational version...

  • Thanks! I don't know, that makes me a little nervous... ;-)

  • Wonderful interpretation of one of my all time favorite King Crimson songs. 5 stars!! The headphone recommendation was right on as I'm viewing this on a laptop.

  • Thanks!

  • King Crimson meets Pat Metheny! This is a mystically unique approach to a beautiful song. Absolutely fantastic!

  • Thanks!

  • That was very good, thank you.

  • This interpretation directly reached my heart. Thank you.

  • Fusing Jazz with Progressive always gives off great Results and this is no different. The Finger picking is spot on and you manage to cover both the Epic Guitar AND the amazing vocals with the instrument, And The bassist just keep the song flowing in the Jazz like beauty that it was meant to be, And the dummer's Calm yes quick hands make the song a little more complicated and add to the mystique of the song...Five Stars and keep it up...

  • Thanks!

  • wow ... great! I loved it by King Crimson... I love your performance!

  • Great job guys, .BRAVO

  • What a wnderful version!

    I subscribed your channel !

  • it remembers me of "change of heart" by pat metheney trio somehow

  • there is info on the great bass sound, but neglects to mention the absolutely beautiful tone of the electric guitar. WOW. very nice finger picking work on this.Very nice version of a great song.

  • Thanks!

  • wow, i like this a lot. the song has a nice groove to it

  • SUPER !! felicitacions, K.C és la música clpassica de l'any 2200. Perfecte també pel Jazz. Sou collunuts !!

  • What a terrific version! The song indeed lends itself to a jazzy take. Great tight group. You guys tour? or only local, and where from?

I just watched 3 kids do a bang-up job of wippersnapper by Wayne krantz and sorry to find out they live in western Canada.

Come by the Philadelphia area by chance?

  • Thanks! No, we don't travel much... I have some 10 trio videos, check 'em all out.

  • this is incredible , always thought the chords in this song would be great for jazz but your trio took it to the next level

  • muy bueno, muy valientes. no es facil lo se.

  • Leiwande Version! Hätte nicht gedacht, dass dieses Stück als Jazznummer so gut kommt...

  • King Crimson's music is well suited for a jazz context. Nicely done.

  • I loved it!!!! Great playing!!

  • Jake I really think if you did Matte Kudasai from Discipline, you could really do it justice with your playing.

  • you did a nice mixture which seems to be imposible becouse of pesimism of Crimson art and optimism of straight ahead jazz, good job, thanks for it!

  • Cool !

  • very nice! jazz arange fine.

  • Tight

  • VERY VERY GOOD!

  • Haha, it's almost as if the song were written for this arrangement. Well done.

  • Thanks!

  • Outstanding!!! I think Mr. Fripp would approve. Just a beautiful and warm sound, very melodic.

  • WOW guys every now and again you see a cut that makes you sit back in pleasant amazement. This was one of 'em fer sure. Just so wonderfully done.

  • Thanks!

  • What condensor mics did you use for the drums and are they EQed?

  • We would be willing *honestly this is no joke* to pay you to come to Atlanta to play with our band.

    PM me :)

  • That was really nice! Lots of love going your way. Wish you all the best

  • My favorit epart of this song are the vocal harmonies...

  • Well done guys. A beautiful interpretation of a KC classic. As fmotp suggested, the world is ripe for jazz covers. Miles doing Cyndi Lauper, Brad Mehldau playing Nick Drake, etc. If you made it to Australia, you would be very welcome!

  • Amazing! I don't listen to as much jazz as I used to, but I don't know why more jazz groups don't cover King Crimson tunes. It seems so obvious to me, their music is jazzy to begin with. The main reason to cover someone else's song is to do something interesting with with it. You guys have done that 10 times over!

  • Thank you!

  • very cool! it made me realize that not many other 16 year olds listen to good music

  • Wonderful.

  • this is very interesting - i have known this piece all my life and

never saw or heard the elements that you brought out. sweet....nice job -are you are i tunes yet?

  • are you on i tunes?

  • Breathtaking! George -- not to unfairly single you out -- Michael Giles would be pleased. So nice to see and hear a very talented ensemble cover a wonderful piece of music from a band known for its ensemble ethos . . . Now how about something by The Enid . . ?

  • Thank you! We have been playing together a long time so we learned to be dynamic with each other.

  • I must say, my favorite element of both the original and this version of the song are the drums^^ I guess I'm just so used to hearing the regular rock drumming and then when you listen to King Crimson, it makes a world of difference. Not only is it a whole different genre of drumming but it has so much feeling in it as well.

  • Thanks for the very nice comments! We hope to put out these tracks on a CD one day...

  • Fantastic performance :) This is one of my favorite King Crimson songs. I love how you sort of bring out the jazzyness of the song a bit more yet still keep the calming feel of it. Great job^^

  • Wow, that was fantastic.

    You guys are very talented!

  • I have listened to this so many times and I just never get tired of it. It deserves a whole lot more views.

  • Thanks! This song is not that well known to start with, let alone our version. I must say, it is one of my favorites too. Please don't forget to subscribe.

  • So tasty!! My compliments gentlemen!!!!

  • Excellent version. Coincidentally, I was only listening to the original yesterday.

  • Oh My God.

  • Thanks for all your nice comments! Specifically, I feel the same about this track. My guys were on fire here and have really inspired me to play better so very pleased with this one. I think a Fleetwood Mac cover is way over due...

  • Beautiful arrangement of a great Crimson composition, great harmonization and solo, very good trio too, greets Vic.

  • very good.. like all your other songs;)..

  • Thank you!

  • Oh mine, I almost wet myself with excitement when I saw the video in my subscriptions, I love King Crimson and especially the album In the Court of the Crimson King. Fantastic cover, your band is awesome! I just love these arrangements, they feel familiar since I've been listening to rock for a longer time than jazz altough I listen to mostly jazz nowadays

  • Thank you, we like to call these the new standards...

  • very clever :)

  • Well done! 5 stars and favorited.

  • Thanks!

  • Great job.*****

  • Really well done. Just wish I could hear the bass. Is it me?

  • Thanks! The bass is definitely there but perhaps you're listening with a laptop?? If you hook it up with a decent system or headphones I think you'll hear it fine. Please let me know!

  • You're right, I am listening with a laptop. I'll try it with headphones and see how it sounds.

  • Once you do 'The Tube' via phones, you'll never again do a disservice to our YT artists (and yourself) by listening thru insipid laptop speakers!

    Enjoy!

  • wow guys what to say?

    this is so beautiful!!!!
