  • i would love to have a sewing machine... i love making y own clothes and style but it gets walled in by no sew techniques...i wish i could sew my stuff...i would make so many new styles XD

  • hey guys! is your threadbanger contest still ongoing? thanks

  • I llooooove Corrine's shirt in this video. Tutorial?

  • Awesome video... You remind me of Lacey Moseley from Flyleaf...

  • That was awful!!

  • What about a band shirt that has a print (on the back and the front) on it, but is too big for me? I'd like to make into a tube top, for example. Or a tank top. Any ideas?

  • she looks like LACEY FROM FLYLEAF!

  • LOL omg the singing at the end hurt my ears:-/

  • wow its really cute!

  • I love the shirt Corinne is wearing!

  • cute...and the shirt too

  • There is nothing wrong with wanting to make a more healthy enviroment. You can keep your negative opinions on DIY to yourself.

  • If you don't like what they make, write in and ask them to make something that you'd like. They're incredibly nice and are willing to give pretty much anything a try so all you have to do is give them a chance. They make the funkier stuff because mostly the people who usually are willing to DIY are funkier people to begin with.

  • it is b/c you are saving clothes from going to the dump to decomposee. it takes forever for clothing to decompose. Also, that means less stuff in the land fills. stop bitching or thinking like Bush.

  • Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's "Hideous tat"

  • Is there a way to do that, but so you dont have to wear it upside down, so that i can keep the design on the front of the shirt?

  • The way Lacie made it, the design will be on the front of the shirt. Hers was a plain black t-shirt so you couldn't really tell.

  • Oh, I thought I saw a design, like some words in the beginning. Okay cool C:

  • you could always just cut out the design and applique it to the new shirt

  • well with screen t's the design is usually right up across your bust. and she cut that part. but if you have a tshirt with print all over. you could just do what Lacie did it. and then turn it inside out

  • if there is a design further down the shirt than the arm holes, you could straight cut it across, make a caseing and slide your elastic inside, fitting it just like she did, but this way right side up, and hopefully with your design intact and readable. Since you're cutting more off than just the hems, it would be a shorter shirt than she has though.

  • She used the hem on the bottom as a tube for the elastic, so you would have to create your own tube. One thing I've done in a similar case is cut across the front as close as I can to the design, and remove the sleeves. This results in u-shaped holes on either side where the sleeves were. I sewed those up, and that actually made it fit me pretty well up top. (The shirt wasn't that big) I'm going to have pictures on livejournal sometime soon, message me if you're interested.

  • i think it would be pretty cool upside down:D

  • Thank you threadbanger for inspiring me! I have finally got my very own Janome sewing machine. Will post when i make stuff!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude how did u make that bandana scarf i have tried like 10 times and i just don't get it right lol can u plizzz make a video tutorial!!!!!

  • does corinne's earrings say BANK? :P

  • BKLYN = brooklyn

  • OMG, I would love to make that bandana scarf he's wearing. I tried making one and it failed, horribly.

  • Ah haha i'm so intereing =D

  • entering. why i said interesting and spelt it wrong idk.

  • What's a serger?

  • i love you guys!! you have the best videos on youtube- hands down

  • can anyone outside of the US take part??

  • Awesome!

  • This is a little unfair to some people though. I don't have any kind of recording camera that I could make any kind of video with :(

  • Hey instantk4rma,

Ask an aunt, uncle, neighbor, friend, coworker, your school's a/v dept., or anyone! Video cameras are ubiquitous. I'll even bet there's some sort of video editing software already installed on your computer. Get to it. Win that sewing machine!

  • I don't have a sowing machine either : (

I would love to try for the comp, but i'm in the UK..is that still ok? x

  • Aaaah serger contest! I'm a little camera shy/noobish but I'm gonna try anyways :O

  • SERGERRRRRRRRRRRR. -foams at mouth- Oh, how I want one

  • i looooove it!!1

  • WOAH!!! her name is spelled the same way as mine. AH! i've never seen that before

    ~Lacie

  • Spelling mistake in title! :P

    'Threabanger"

  • whoops! Thanks!

  • i dont have a sewing machine =(

  • :D yay

  • What if you don't have a sewing machine and you desperately need one? [like me]

  • Well, one of the machines we're giving away is a serger (super advanced) and the other one we're giving away is more basic- so you should totally send in a video and try to win that one :)

  • I AM SO ENTERING =o

  • OH MY! that serger is MINE. =]

  • not if I can help it...key word being if :P

  • Hey! I have a problem. I already have 10X10cm x-stitched Hello Kitty, but I don`t know where I can use it. please help me, I love that Kitty. It would be great if u can help me. :)

  • Yay Laceel!

I'm so glad Janome's really going for these contests. Good idea to do the serger AND a sewing maching giveaway. Good stuff y'all.

  • Yay!

  • New sewing machine! yeah I'm on it!
